Redlands East Valley took the opening game 25-21.
That was a big game for the Wildcats, as CdM didn’t go a good job of closing. The Sea Kings led 17-12, and REV star player Krista VanSant was in the backrow. However, REV still managed to put together a run with some help from sloppy passing by CdM.
REV tied the match at 18, and once VanSant got back in the front row, she took over.
Early on this match looks easy to call. If CdM passes the ball cleanly, they will win. If not, they are in danger.
