Football: OCVarsity Defensive Stars of the Week

Here are my top three defensive stars of the first round of the CIF playoffs:
1. Nick Dzubnar, Mission Viejo, LB
Dzubnar recorded two sacks and four tackles for losses as the Diablos defeated Long Beach Wilson, 52-14.
2. Jordan Zumwalt, Edison, LB
Zumwalt forced two turnovers, including an interception in Edison' s 58-14 victory over LB Millikan.
3. Tim Sanchez, Whittier Christian, LB
Sanchez recovered two fumbles and blocked a punt, which the Heralds eventually turned into a touchdown in a first-round victory.
