The big story line is the Division I-AA match between Los Alamitos and Newport Harbor, but that's not the only hot ticket.

Is there a reason Whittier Christian has been left out of your coverage? An orange county school playing for the second year in a row for the 4AA championship!

    • VB MOM says:

Yes Only Div 1 schools semm to get ALL the coverage!

    • Anaheim VB Mom says:

What about in Division 5AA? Connelly won the finals on SAT for the 4th year in a row after an undefeated season!
(OC Register writer) Steve Greenhut's wife is the librarian... you would think Connelly would at least get honorable mention!

  • HS Vball Mom says:

I agree! The top schools continue to get the coverage year after year. I am truly excited for all OC teams that make it to CIF and all the way to the finals and I wish each and every team tremendous luck tomorrow, but week after week it is the same schools getting all the coverage while great teams like Whittier Christian are virtually ignored. It is time to spread the wealth! Please note I am a south OC mom and my daughter's team did not even make it into the post season. I just love reading about all the teams and following their success. Something to think about for next year.
