Venue was great (notwithstanding the cage mishap) – historical setting of 1932 Olympics – in view of Coliseum – can’t beat that. No entrance charge.also a plus. Thanks John Borough for the hospitality.

I personally thought Loyola came across intimidated/overly concerned with the venue choice but I liked the Argue facility. The crowd wasn’t very big for such a great game but I understand why Loyola made the pick.

On the other hand, the Newport and CdM kids got to play in front of 2,000 fans and that’s a pretty sweet reward for the players. That’s something they will remember.

Of course, Joey Fuentes will also remember those “Joey, Joey, Joey” chants, too

We’ve got to work on having unbiased announcers. He was working the Mich and then the crowd cheers during the breaks. OC made the drive to the game – close to half of the crowd. But no where near the masses assembled at Woollett.

Didn’t a website called vootage webcast it live a few years ago? I think it was the year Los Al won Masters in 2007? It’d be great if they could do it again.

Looks like it’ll be Newport, El Toro in the Finals. I predict El Toro will win a very close game with the way they’re playing right now.

Are they going to webcast the CIF finals like they did last year? I have already forgotten the name of the service that did it last year any information would be great.
