Girls soccer: San Clemente’s Chambers-Garcia commits

recruiting_icon San Clemente senior and 2008-2009 second team all county selection Shelby Chambers-Garcia has committed to play soccer at the University of Michigan.

Chambers-Garcia, who was also a second team all CIF-SS Division I and all South Coast League selection last season, led the Tritons in goals and assists in the playoffs, as San Clemente won its’ second straight CIF-SS Division I championship and the school’s first ever CIF Southern California Regional title.

She spent part of her summer training and competing with the Mexican National under-20 team.
