  • The J Man says:

Lets Go Vaqueros!!!!! lead the way DaVonte!!!

  • PMaK says:

Sad that the first round is going to be a bunch of blow outs..

  • Brett says:

Actually I think the first round has some very interesting games. While the seeded teams should win going away, I like the other matchups. Westminster-Irvine (again), Mesa-Santiago (again), Laguna Beach-Beckman, etc.

    • that one dude says:

i like how everyone all yearlong has underestimated garden grove and saying beckmans gonna smash and this is an all suburbann league bracket.im not talking trash but they have proven alot of people wrong this year and have a great chance of winning

  • PMaK says:

I don’t think the irvine game is going to be as close as last years..Beckman is about to smash, and so is santiago..

  • SANT!AGO_CAVAL!ER says:

pmak why do you say SHS will beat CMHS?

  • PeeWee says:

Why?? You ask..Cuz that is exactly what is going to happen, the whole OCL will be out first round..

  • ENCORE says:

Can Grove doubledip Norwalk in the Semis? I’ll bring the ranch. The winner will be a nice appitizer for the Hawks at the Big A. Laguna Hills were my pick last year in this new Disiion. They will soar again this year. Mariner 4 Life/ CrunchBunch 4 Ever……

    • camacho12 says:

woah woah woah!?!? grove and norwalk? you mean westminster and grove! stop underestimating the mighty lions. nothings change! keep hating and talking, we are just gonna play football and hit you in the mouth

    • kaytee says:

haha wow urrr funny! GROVE! SO FAR 12-0! WE WILL TOTALLLY DOMINATE YOU NEXT WEEK! BRING IT

  • Rigorokuz says:

the SUburban league owns this division. LHHS got real lucky last year. Mayfair had it wrapped up but let up the intensity in the game. This year heres the prediction Norwalk against la mirada championship game. Plus te burb will roll every single last orange county team. I just do not think anyone except maybe the grove will do anything to change ths LGHHS lost thier top players to graduation last year. They have a good coach and play good ball but they are just not the same. LA county championship in this one. And th suburban league goes on to div 7 southeast were they belong

    • lil gag says:

youre underestimating segrestrom! I dont think mayfair could stop segerstrom offense norwalk n la mirada r ok. but mayfair is no where near those teams

  • heads up says:

Wow….suburban league people are mouthy, zero class….Encore – no way they play the finals for this division at the Big A, thats just silly

    • LM FAN says:

Not all Suburban league people are like this!…… La Mirada players, coaches and fans all have class and have “been there before” We respect everyone we play! Bottom line you need to win 4 games!

  • uKNOWnada says:

The Argos need to represent for the GGL! No pressure, just show that we can play past the pop warner level! Bulldog 4ever!

  • The J Man says:

this is how it will go…. semifinal: garden grove vs. either irvine or norwalk, and Laguna Hills Vs. La Mirada. …final: either Irvine or Norwalk Vs. La Mirada …most likely norwalk unfortunately will beat irvine but im keeping my hopes up to see the vaqs get there with Henigan one last time.

  • Kwoney says:

Sorry to burst your bubble but Norwalk gets home field second round against Irvine..

  • pclfootball says:

Guess what im from CDM and what you guys say about laguna hills is completely wrong. They are almost as good as they were last year but they just play a different style of football. they are still very good. also suburban league ppl need to shut their mouths. La mirada and norwalk’s schedules are very weak.

  • Kwoney says:

Thanks from a team that lost every league game..

  • Lessly says:

lets just wait till friday..people talk and talk but what counts is those friday night lights and two teams playing head to head..Im a lion so of course i will be cheering for the mighty LIONS..people saying that they have no chance is getting the lions more pumped for friday….its a game that cant be missed.and both teams will be ready

  • mike says:

You obviouslydont no what you are talking about,La mirada had the toughest schedule over all teams in the bracket.stop hatting la mirada is the reel deal!!! go matadoresHPT

  • pclfootball says:

ya cdm lost every league game this year, but we still wooped la mirada last year and cdm should have beaten mayfair too, but they got away “barely” with a win.

  • IAMTHEONE says:

Irvine Lost 20-14 to Westminster in the final seconds of the game because a Westminster lion acted like he caught the ball in the end zone from a pass that was actually was batted down to the turf and bounced off the turf then was caught, it should have been ruled an incomplete pass yet was ruled a touchdown. A video from what i have heard also confirms this. If indeed the video shows this fact it is nothing short of pathetic. If the only way a team can win is by deception they have no honor and deceived themselves,

I have no respect for a player or team that has no honor for truth. “The true loss comes from the loss of truth”.

  • IAMTHEONE says:

Correction Irvine lost to Westminster 20-16.

  • dreamer says:

    Segerstrom Won! :D
good game! and super FREEZING! but totally worth it!
    GO JAGUARS!

  • seth says:

i doubt westminster can stop norwalk’s running game

  • Expert says:

westminster better be ready to play this friday norwalks running game is to powerful,I’ve seen them play and they’re foreal. so stop being cocky and bring your best game on friday or you’ll end up like the segerstrom game but a little worst!!

  • LM FAN says:

I haven’t seen Garden Grove or Laguna Hills play but LM is for real this year. If GG is going to beat Norwalk they better figure out how to stop the Wing T. Norwalk runs it very well. For whom ever said Suburban League played a weak schedule, you should check strength of schedule on Calpreps.com. You will find your assessment to be incorrect.

  • Pretty in Red says:

ARGOS OVERRATED? Ya, if U consider 12-0 Overrated…I’m sure that Santiago, Bellflower, Beckman don’t think so! Bring on Norwalk!

  • LM FAN says:

I would never say a 12-0 team is overrated. I wish them luck. Haven’t seen them play but I am assuming at 12-0 they are a well coached, very good football team. Their strength of schedule was ranked at 830th. Not overly impressive but any team that manages a 12-0 record has to be good.

  • LM FAN 2 says:

Sorry to who ever signed on as LM fan earlier. I didn’t realize somone was posting under that name. I have changed my posts to LM FAN 2. Again, sorry for acquiring your identity.

    • lil gag says:

IT doesn’t matter, cause after this friday la mirada will be done!!

      • LM FAN 2 says:

I think you will be sorely disappointed, lil gag. But games are won and lost on the field. Forum blogs mean nothing. The buck stops on the field, in LM’s house. We will see Friday night.

        • lil gag says:

I’m not a laguna hills fan, im just saying what i think is gonna happen, based on what i’ve seen in the playoffs so far. i watch LM when they play santa ana , and they seem nervous you guys were down 3-0 in the second quarter. i know you guys end it up winning the game by a large margin,”but santa ana” are you kidding me !! you guys didn’t impressed me at all. nothing personal thats just the way i feel.

  • LM FAN 2 says:

Fair enough. We will see on Friday. I will admit we came out a little sluggish against Santa Ana. We can chat again Saturday. Hopefully, about the LM win.

    • lil gag says:

the was a good game” i got to give you guys credit, props to la mirada they played like champions tonight,i’ll admit that.good luck next week.

      • LM FAN 2 says:

Thanks lil gag. I think tomorrow’s game is going to be a great battle between La Mirada and Garden Grove. I’m calling it a toss up.

  • Lancer says:

Norwalk fan til’ my brothers are out…
Used to go for Western when I attended in 04-05′
Yup yup just one year but we went to the finals… our QB choked and we lost it to Tesoro oh well, moving on… Norwalk will have a strong offense next year with Penny still in the team and a guy I don’t know named Nunu lol, I’m sure there are a bunch more guys n I hope they all return
Hope they’re more disciplined and want it more because it will be their last chance for the Seniors
Once my kid grows up, I’ll either root for La Habra or L.B.Poly >=] up to him and where he wants to live by

  • Lancer says:

Norwalk put in work when it came to rushing yards
Too bad they couldn’t hold onto the ball
Where are the pass plays at tho?
    L.M. Has those…
From the words of a wise man…GG, “jew-ken-doo-eat!!!”
