How 'bout some love for the "Special Teams" at the end of the regular season? A shout out to the top 5 kick-off returns, the top 5 punt returns, and the top 5 field goal kicks. Great job for a great season to all the players in Orange County high school programs.

So true, a kicker can win or lose a game. Let's not forget the the holders and snappers. They rarely get mentioned but are just as important as the kicker.

Thank You finally some props to the kicking game and special teams. A 57 yarder is truly a kick-off with only 2 steps WOW!!! If you kick-off from your 40 and take say 5 steps it better go into the end -zone "no excuses". The long-snapper might be the most under-rated kid on the team. I have seen about a 1000 football games in 40 years and a bad long-snap has changed the outcome of about 100 of those games. Last year Preston King showed me and hopefully all of you how to return punts and kick-offs Who will be this years play-off return king??? Blocking punts, Pats and fieldgoals was a specialty of mine when I played. Being a lineman doesn't come with much Glory . But blocking a punt or a game winning fieldgoal is the best feeling in the world. Good luck to all the Special Teams Players many are underclassmen or back-ups so make a difference for your teams. Punters kick it long and hang-it high and don't forget how to pin a team back with a coffin corner kick. Every kick-off in the end-zone. set -up blocks on returns. your only out there one play every 10 plays so hold nothing back. Marinr 4 Life>>CrunchBunch 4 Ever____________
