County teams remaining: No. 2 Corona del Mar; Beckman

Tonight’s schedule: Click here

Best match of the night: Beckman at El Segundo. Each team is the second place team from its respective league, the Pacific Coast and Pioneer leagues. The teams don’t have an opponent in common. The edge would tilt slight toward the home team in this one. However, Beckman has a stronger strength of schedule that could pay dividends in a match like this.

Outlook: With just two county teams playing, there isn’t a whole bunch to look out for. One note of interest is Corona del Mar playing its first match after receiving a bye Tuesday. It can take a team a game to get it going, so Arcadia could have a good chance to get the opening game. The Sea Kings should be alright, and they received a big boost Wednesday off the court. CdM won both coin flips and will be the host team Saturday night should they advance.
