Here’s a prediction for Tuesday’s boys water polo playoffs:

Division II first round

Lakewood (14-6) at Dana Hills (16-13), 3:15 p.m.

Outlook: The Dolphins overcame a handful of injuries to finish second in the tough South Coast League. They struggled with consistency at times during the season but played a competitive schedule. Dana Hills also seemed to find itself in league, going 4-1. The Dolphins have an excellent 1-2 punch in Larson Pfeil and goalie Kevin Guck. Lakewood is an at-large entry (fourth place) from the Moore League.
