Which season is going to end – Mater Dei’s or Mission Viejo’s?

The teams split the opening games in the first round of the CIF-SS Division I-AA playoffs at Mater Dei.

Mission Viejo played a near perfect opening game, controlling the action and taking the game, 25-18.

Mater Dei responded and cut down its mistakes. The Monarchs started passing better while Mission Viejo’s passing fell down a bit. Mater Dei won the second game 25-18.

Tied 1-1.
