Is CDM a one-person team? Seems to me that an entire season is an awful lot of guilt to heap on one young man who had an unfortunate injury.

Beckman has the most size of any team in the league. They play great defense and San Juan didn’t help themselves by turning the ball over at some really bad times (not that there are many good times!)

CdM has had the bad luck of just being too small. They have struggled on the offensive side of the ball, and the teams with big physical lines have taken it to them. You could see that their season changed on 2 plays. IN the Cdm-Irvine game, they were down 7-0 and looked to have tied the game up on a long run. It is called back for not having enough guys on the line. The very next play a dubious fumble call on a slant pass that was returned to the 1 and instead of the game being tied, CdM is down 14-0. Then Irvine throws a streak that hits off the shoulder pads of the defender into the hands of the WR for a td. At that point they seemed done.

What i don’t understand is how san juan hills has been able to score on every team in the PCL except for Beckman

Still think San Juan Hills should have been called the Rough Riders, but perhaps that’s just the US history fan in me speaking.

Beckman is going to be a brutal draw for some first place team. Won’t be La Mirada, Garden Grove or Laguna Hills. Look out Segerstrom or the OCL winner.
