after devastating los to clan fullerton wont recover and will be bounced in 1st round of playoffs.they will never recover from whats coming on fri the 13th

  • Hyde says:

Check your teams, La Habra played Sunny Hills on the 30th, I believe. Fulerton tonight and Troy is left?

  • Hyde says:

SORRY I must be off, Sunny Hills is tonight

  • warren says:

La Habra should not underestimate Fullerton. They are a one note team, rushing only, but they are very good at that.

    • dee ray says:

we like to be the underdogs and fullerton always talk smack we dont underestimate anyone ps we beat a PAC#5 team has fullerton should be the game of the week GO LA HABRA HIGHLANDERS I WILL BE THERE

  • FUHS STUDENT says:

Keep this in mind. Fullerton is playing la habra AT HOME for the first time since 2005. yes 2005. for those of u who question this...
    2005-@Fullerton
    2006-@La habra
    2007-Game canceled due to fires
    2008-@La habra
    2009.....@Fullerton

The insanity of LA HABRA stadium really rattled the team last year..
I still think La Habra wins but it will be much closer than last year's 24-7 victory...Fullerton's front seven...is awesome.

    • haminator says:

La Habra fans are extremely loyal, so don't be surprised if Fullerton's stadium looks like it's bathed in blue. I predict they will "rattle" the heck out of the Fullerton team again.

    • dee ray says:

AND I ALLSO REMEMBER THE COIN FLIP BEING YOU LIKE TO BRING UP THE PAST AND WE BEAT WHO IN CIF I CANT RECALL

  • man says:

indeed this shall be a slash of titans, a battle of mights, a war of wills...!!!and when it is all said and done who shall be the victor...???i have foreseen it in a dream, do not underestimate this tribe team, for they may loose next week, but look for them to climb far in the playoffs...!!!

  • FUHS STUDENT says:

    BREAKING NEWS!!!!
I talked to jakubeic today during a passing period he said he can play in the la habra game and in the playoffs. He hasn't played this year at all so he is probably eligible...right?

  • HSFOOTBALLFAN says:

If Fullerton played La Habra's schedule they would be 5 and 4.next wk Clan 35 Indians 14 Highlanders are better coached.

  • FUHS STUDENT says:

Yea La habra has way to many weapons and depth for us :(
BUT i still think our defense will make it close.
Nobody has really seen Fullerton's defense next friday i guarantee people will be impressed...
Here's my opinion of what team has the advantage at each position:

    Quarterbacks:La habra
Clements is a beast who has only turned the ball over a handful of times this year. Ficociello is a threat to run it but is very easy for the DB's to read...

    Running Backs: EVEN
La Habra has quezada and Avery. Two studs. or i as i like to say BEASTSSSSS!!
Fullerton has a smaller more speedier back in Joe Hill who has 26 TD's this year. Troy Pinelo who is tinyyy might be a factor as well.

    Receivers: La Habra
No question With bartolone and a handful of others, Fullerton can simply not match up with La Habra's receivers. We are a running team.

    Offensive Line- La Habra
Fullerton has a average line this year. 3 are juniors though we do have Garret Bell a 6-5 280 giant who is athletic and has great strength as well. Though all u have to do is take a look at La habra's weight room and well....that answers this question.

    Defensive Line- Even
Fullerton's line is short but extremely quick and strong. Pacheco and Coloma are not the tallest kids but both have great core strength(both can bench 300+pounds) Watch out for Milone and Cargill on the ends.
La Habra has a tremendous amount of depth on the line and has the advantage of rotating in and out linemen. Eric Padilla will be tough to contain...

    Linebackers: Fullerton
Yes. Fullerton has the advantage here. Yes. La habra has the young star in Aaron Porter. BUT Fullerton's Combo of Simon Poti(6' 210) and Servite Transfer Dominic Greco(6-3 220) have been wreaking havoc on opposing offenses this year. Greco is an absolute monster with great wheels and Poti is simply a tackle machine. Greco has told me this is the game has been waiting for the whole season. Oh yeah by the way he has been playing with a seperated shoulder.

    DB's: La habra
Sierra is a stud for La habra with his size and speed as well. Fullerton will have to open up the passing game but look for fullerton to keep it on the ground as they always have...
Fullerton's two safeties this year are faster and stronger than last year's starters though.

    Special Teams: Fullerton.
Yes. Another shocker probably for many. Junior Troy Pinelo who stands at only 5'6" has been awesome on kickoff returns this year returning 2 touchdowns this season as well as giving fullerton great field position. If fullerton wants to have any chance in this game they must execute on special teams.

    Coaching:LA HABRA
Honestly...as a person who witnesses the practices firsthand and have some of the coaches as teachers...well the coaching at fullerton is the achilles heel for team. Mazotta has the respect for his players which is something Smilowitz doesnt. That is crucial.

    My prediction?
    La Habra 21 Fullerton 10.

  • UHWarrior says:

FUHS Student - WOW, Impressive analysis!! My hat's off to you, you are definitely a true fan. Thanks.

  • HighSchoolFootballFan says:

FUHS Student - That was a great analysis but there are a couple things off on that. Quezada is definately one of the top RB recruits. If you look at his hilight videos, on top of being quick, the can really break tackles. He's low to the ground and is really strong. If he gets into the open field, he's going to the endzone, 1 on 1, forget it, that defender is toast. From what I've seen, the only why to beat Quezada is if the D-Line can get him early in his run or if you can get him out of bounds.

And for the Special Teams - I think Fullerton has the upperhand. Not only do you need to have a great return, you also need a great kicker. Senior Daniel Gallant has put up an impressive number of points from XP and FG. I'm not saying this game will rely on that last minute field goal, but this kid is a fine kicker and can help out alot.

  • FUHS STUDENT says:

However Gallant got into a fight on friday during break and word around school is that he got suspended...if thats true he will miss the la habra game..THAT being said however dominic greco did the kickoffs last night against sonora and he has a hell of a leg. On field goals Anthony Martinez will probably take over for gallant or the staff might choose to use greco on field goals if neccessary

  • the kid says:

LH could mix things up too, LH has tried the wildcat vs san clemente. you never know they seem to adjust well to any situation thrown at them. Sierra/Sparling have been doing very well this year. Porter not playing, well last time i checked he wasnt. he got hurt during the san clemente game.

i want to see this Hill kid, heard he is pretty good. but quezada can break tackles for a living.

  • FUHS STUDENT says:

Hill is a lot different than Allain. With allain he was shorter but much more stronger and had the ability to break tackles and run over people even for his small size(5-9)...With Hill you get a much more faster and swifter back. Hill is not gonna run anybody over by any means but he has great vision.

  • Free Fan says:

Wow looks like Sonora can take third this year!

  • pigskin junkie says:

cause its a free country! and he can!

  • freeway looker says:

oooh!....well hear this! troy will go down to sonora, just like they should have last yr....but that last second hail mary pass bailed them out!that wont happen again...and sonora is better than last yrs team.troy beat teams that wont make the playoffs other then savanna!

    • PJ says:

So freeway tell me who Sonora beat this year? Savanna would have run circles around Sonora if they had played each other. The only team that both Troy and Sonora played was Brea. And Sonora's win came after Brea had to forfeited a 37-20 victory.

  • UHWarrior says:

It was interesting last Friday at the Tustin vs. El Do game I sat with some friendly and knowledgable Tustin Fans. All of us admitted that the top three running backs in the SW div. are Wilkerson, Quezada, and AK Muhammed. The Tustin fans did say they felt that Quezada from LH was the scariest back they've seen. They described him as a "violent" runner. When Quezada runs into the secondary he looks like he wants to hurt the person who is going to try and tackle him. Wilkerson and AK don't have that mentality. I thought that was an interesting take from some great Tustin fans.

    • dee ray says:

thats why hes going to stanford and you dont have to kiss tustin tiller fans buttsps we stopped him in cif last year not a problem this year

  • FUHS STUDENT says:

I think Joseph Hill has to be mentioned when your talking about the top 5 or 6 running backs in the division...He is small yes but very fast

    • freeway league insider! says:

wilkerson and juice have been doing this for 4yrs for wilk, and 3 yrs for juice, hill has only done this his last yr!..so you cant put him in that list!

  • freeway league insider! says:

both sonora and troy are pillow fighters!they both would get bounced out of the 1st rnd, but since 1 can only make it that 1 team will get the early boot! thats a promise!

  • dude says:

fullerton is tough to beat at home...!!!!!!!!do not count them out.........clan-21 tribe-28!!!!

  • 09Tribe72 says:

Well its gonna be a great game this Friday Indians havent had a home game against the clan since 05 Indians will take it this year never underestimate that home field

  • thsstudent says:

Good luck fullerton....wish i would have gone there insted of ths.

    • THSW says:

Hey thsstudent, just finish your season and don't look over the fence and think the grass is greener. You might be saying something different next year!

  • HSFOOTBALLFAN says:

La Habra will have more fans than Fullerton at thier own House.Come on Fullerton these two teams deserve a packed house this is for the FREEWAY LEAGUE TITLE.Lets pack the house,La Habra-Fullerton lets set a attendace record standing room only these two teams deserve it Friday Day Night Under The Lights

    • Country says:

They should move the game to CSF. That Fullerton field does no justice to the away side.

      • freeway league insider! says:

it would cost the district 10k to play the game there! and none of the snack bar money goes to any school, csuf keeps it all! parking and all ! its a joke that csuf bends over everyone that wants to play there,it would be a mini version of the' big a' for some kids to play in a college stadium!but i've read that a calif. politician wants to know why csuf screws everyone when the state is in need of cash!

  • dee ray says:

    GO HIGHLANDERS

  • whatshisname says:

lets not be so nice. fullerton will get rolled. highlander fans are being to respectfull, these are the indians, that may get bounced in 1st round since they will most likely be bunched in middle of brackets.they are a 1 dimentional team and no where near tustins 1 dimentional team. this senior class of la habra has one thing on their minds and thats a state birth, and fullerton is just another stepping stone.play off mentality is in full gear on highlander drive and it starts on friday at fullerton.

  • TRIBE PRIDE says:

"whatshisname" i dont know what u have against FULLERTON, so much hatred you have against them... u get in to this comments like no one else. man its just a football game... let me ask you one thing, did you even ever played for la habra at any sport??? because it seems either you never did or if you did on your days it was when fullerton would SPANK la habra... ill be honest ever since mazzota is been the coach for la habra they have rise but fullerton is still here... my self am an alumni C/O of 04 i played at fullerton... so i know what goes on inside... we respect your program, but if your were an athlete from la habra or fullerton, when we play against la habra we know as much as we HATE YOU GUYS "LA HABRA" you GUYS HATE US AS WELL, AS MUCH AS WE DO!!!!!!!!!! so donth think your going to walk over us cause your not.............. this game is not about who is rank higher or about league champions, this game is about FULLERTON SHUTTING UP LA HABRA AT OUR HOUSE.......... MARK MY WORDS NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS THIS FRIDAY NITE " FULLERTON IS COMING OUT WITH THE W" THEN ALL YOU LA HABRA ARE NOT GOING TO KNOW WHAT TO SAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • footballer says:

that was a HUGE W for fullerton! restart that countdown!!! hahaha

    • nothing but the facts says:

hey Tribe Pride !!! You say "Mark my words" hahahahaha please you guys got freakin rolled up if it wasnt for that hill kid having a few broken plays it could of been a shut out! joe hill has ronnie hillman speed!
talk about a blow out like my man Fottballer said You better restart that clock! your so called true fans were gone and on there way home at the start of the 4th qrtr how sad....and the way your freshman and JV team got rolled buy LH its going to be a long time before Fullerton ever gets a "W" against LH !!!!! freshman lost 52-6 I heard....Hmmmm i think I smell the fresh cut grass of Anahiem stadium yet once again, and thats nothing but the facts!

  • whatshisname says:

not a haterjust a lover of all things blue, and some things you say, Ill admit are true, aprogram, an amtrak that runs through you.

  • the.kid says:

no coin flips happening this year tribe, LH takes this one 28-14

  • ringmaster says:

I like the overunder on this one. 55 pts. clan 55 tribe o nada.

  • FUHS STUDENT says:

Sorry La Habra fans but Fullerton's Defense is the best its been in a long time. BUT that doesnt mean Fullerton is gonna win haha, I see Fullerton's defense holding La Habra to 17.

    • dee ray says:

i guess they sell bad drugs in fullerton get your lips off the pipe dude your high to think your defense is that good we beat san celmente did you beat a pac 5 team so quite talking crap you dont know what your talking about you guys always talk shit see you on friday at lest we step out of are div

  • harry says:

hey dee ray... santa fe beat san clemente too... and than a few weeks later got beat by laserna, so i dont wanna hear it about how lahabra beat a pac 5 school, cause san clemente is no one this year... clan-28 tribe-35...

  • FUHS STUDENT says:

I'm not bashing La Habra's Team. Just saying the defense is much improved over the 07 and 08 teams...

  • dee ray says:

we step out of the freeway league and play them reg season the only reason you have the record you do is because you dont hello

  • Freeway buey says:

La Habra will be tough for Fullerton, no doubt, but I think that Fullerton is their own worst enemy. It seems that it takes the offense at least a quarter just to get into gear. If Fullerton comes out strong from the beginning, they will give La Habra a good challenge. If it takes them a while to warm up, I don't know if they'll be able to catch up. I do believe the Indians have the potential to surprise some people, and this is the game to do it at.

  • dee ray says:

san clemente wasnt nothing then much inproved so get your facts right you guys talk so much shit every year ps give it a rest you sherm head LA HABRA rules the freeway get your head out of your butt

  • HSFOOTBALLFAN says:

Fullerton u have a great tradition but please take down that 2007 freeway league football championship banner that hangs in your gym u lost to Troy and La HABRA in CIF finals thats just not right Mazzotta would never and I mean never hang that up in LH gym league Ships are won not handed out hey lets play twice this year!

  • Meow says:

Lol all the pac-5 teams are losing players their parents cant afford for their kids to go to far off schools soon all the schools will even out again san clemente is a good example of that beating them isnt that great of an accomplishment

  • FUHS STUDENT says:

Freeway buey- Very true. They take way too long too get going on offense if they wanna have any chance...they need to get some points on the board on their first drive. Even a field goal..

  • freeway league insider! says:

wooow sayman, if you're going to come on here talkin trash, you need to hit spell check!

  • OBSERVER says:

Country says that Fullerton's away side is weak? And La Habra's visitor's side is what, a paradise? PLEASE! It's freezing, rattling wood bleachers? Parking stinks! Only one entrance! Finally it looks like they drywalled the press box... after 5+ years!

  • HSFB Fan says:

Observer, get over it. You sound bitter with a chip on your shoulder. I've sat on the LH and Fullerton away bleachers and definitely enjoyed the game way better at La Habra.

  • dee ray says:

52 to 21 yeah whos your DADDY

  • Highlander Fan says:

Yea La habra has way to many weapons and depth for us
BUT i still think our defense will make it close.

Ummm, how did that work out for you TRIBE PRIDE? 52 to 21 and the W goes to...La Habra. Was there any doubt?

  • footballer says:

from what i saw, LH but a whoopin on fullerton. even through their spitting in the face (Daniel Gallant) and punching "down below." fullerton players are some dirty mother effers.

  • HSFOOTBALLFAN says:

La Habra is just warming up for play offs they could of scored 70 pts if they wanted to.LA Habra looks solid it will take a great effort to beat the Highlanders

  • sayman says:

hey fullerton no more talking crap .you guys got spanked

  • sayman says:

oh thers no talking now .now that we shut you guys up once again LA HABRA RULES THE FREEWAY.ONE MORE LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP FOR LA HABRA 3 IN A ROW

  • Easye says:

La Habra definately opened up a can of Whoop-ass. (Headline) Indians massacred by Highlanders. The vaunted Fullerton defense never materialized in this game, LH was simply too fast and too strong for the tribe.
On a side note, It's a shame that the Fullerton coaching staff does not have the balls or class to punish players who sink to the dirty tactics I witnessed at the game on friday night. Is spitting in the face and socking opposing players in the groin (#21) taught or even tolerated at Fullerton. Coach Smilowitz and his staff should be embarrassed for allowing this type of behavior on the field. It is no wonder that no one and I mean no one respects your program.

  • dee ray says:

Easye...thats for sure they did that same stuff when we played them in cif what a sick group of coaches...ps we will always remember that kind of behavor

    • nothing but the facts says:

hey Tribe Pride !!! You say "Mark my words" hahahahaha please you guys got freakin rolled up if it wasnt for that hill kid having a few broken plays on our second and third stringers it could of been a shut out! joe hill has Ronnie Hillman speed I'll give him that !
