  • Hopefully La Habra and Fullerton will not be too focused on their annual match-up in two weeks. Both being 8-1 would make for a great match-up in two weeks.

  • Weston Heise says:

what??! come on... cypress dropped 65 points on katella and they didnt move up one spot?

    • LINE SIX says:

Weston, we won't move up at all for the rest of the year. Maybe, MAYBE we'll move up to 3 if we win the Empire League. But that's the highest we'll go. If we do well in the playoffs this year and make some noise & have a year next year like the one we're having now, then we'll start worrying about the 1 & 2 spots. Easy Weston, easy.

    • Tyler says:

Scoring 65 on Katella is no reason to rise. Cypress has beaten nobody, and although they played Mater Dei closer than expected, how many players were Mater Dei missing?

Pacifica being "others" is a joke. They should have beaten El Dorado -- would have had they had a decent kicker -- and played a devastating nonleague schedule: Norwalk, California and JSerra after El Dorado.

This is going to be a good game, but in this poll Cypress is overrated and Pacifica is underrated.

      • LINE SIX says:

MD was only missing one player. Blackwell. However, Cypress has thoroughly handled every other team they faced. And I mean Thoroughly. And just cause Pac should have beaten Eldo doesn't mean they get credit for a 'shoulda' win. Cypress 'shoulda' beaten MD. But we didn't get the job done.

On that note, do I think Cypress is overrated? No. Do I think Pacifica is underrated? Yes. They would beat teams 7-10, El Toro being their only challenge. Guess you Mariners will just have to prove everyone wrong come Thursday night.

  • Weston Heise says:

hmm. now that i look at it your way i see that your right. haha and i wasn't getting all excited cause we didn't move up. i was just surprised cause i thought we would have moved up. but you are right. i was getting ahead of myself

  • Thhfan says:

Weston, you'll have to make it to finals to move up. Last year Tustin made it and Trabuco only went to the semi-final. Prior year Trabuco was in the finals and Tustin didn't even make playoffs. So obviously it really depends on your prior year record. If you don't go to finals this year I wouldn't expect a moved up next year either. With Trabuco moving to the SoCoast Conference you may move up anyway.

  • FUHS STUDENT says:

THE LA HABRA FULLERTON GAME IS GONNA BE EPIC!!!!
la habra still wins tho lol....

  • bigfannofbandg says:

el dorado vs. anthony wilkerson this week. last year el do won. we'll see what happens this year

  • cypkenalum21 says:

no need for any movement for cypress id rather the cents not even be on the list..it makes a sweeter sound at the end when you come up unrecognized. But im looking foward to hopefully taking pacifica out of others this week.

    Line Six
    "Lets take it Outside"

  • UHWarrior says:

Top five hasn't changed a bit. Cypress will not move up until they beat someone. The only team Cypress has beat that has a winning record is Irvine. Cypress played Mater Dei (4-4) tough? they scored twice on special teams and then kicked a 19 yard field goal, that's it. MD's RB put up 146 yards on the Cents and he was coming off the flu. The Empire league is weak, as the Freeway league. Dropping 65 points on a 2-5 Katella team deserves you guys to move up? Until you beat La Habra, Tustin or Trabuco Hills, you're not better.

  • Weston Heise says:

okay. we will see what happens when the playoffs come around. then we will know who is the better team

  • mariner4life says:

cypress pacifica game gonna be crazy

  • MJ says:

Cypress plays a "cupcake" schedule; that's why they gets no love! Tustin and LH would smash on Cypress.

    • Bick says:

So who has Tustin played beside O-Lu (who ROLLED them)? Western? Elmo? Foothill with their combined (4-20) record? The only team they beat with a winning record was 5-3 Villa Park...and their schedule is no great shakes.

Ok, no Wilkerson, but what's the excuse for the D to give up 46 pts v. O-Lu?

      Your "cupcake" argument lacks frosting

      • Country says:

According to Calpreps, Tustin has played the tougher schedule so far. Cypress has played 3 teams (Pioneer, Uni & Katella) with negative ratings. Tustin has played one so far (Western) and have another in week 10 (Brea). Adding up the non-league opponent ratings gives Tustin the edge. 77.0 against Cypress' 67.0. Add everyone they've played so far and Tustin's wins out 116.7 to Cypress' 72.5.

"Ok, no Wilkerson, but what's the excuse for the D to give up 46 pts v. O-Lu?"

Better coaching from OLu. They ran a no huddle offense in the 1st half that killed us. OLu also had 2-3 weeks to prepare for us.

Miller not sharing the ball with others in the previous 2 games didn't help us either. It was Wilkerson, Wilkerson, Wilkerson. When there was no Wilkerson. He handed the ball to others who had no experience. To some of those kids. It was the first carry of the season.

  • wesfan83 says:

tustin is about to suffer there second loss of the season this week...how depressing

  • urkiddingright says:

why is fullerton in front of el dorado??? garbage

  • MJ I will remember this post...come December. Thanks

    Line Six

  • UHWarrior says:

El Do is the Century league's last chance to stop Tustin's antiquated double wing offense. So far, no one has even come close. Except for OLu, but Wilkerson was out. However, El Do is the second best team in the league. Hmm... maybe Tustin should suit-up 19 guys to play just in case. Tustin should change their names from the "Tillers" to the "Killers" because that's what they've been doing to their opponents. Prediction: The "Killers" ... er "Tillers" get revenge on last years loss to El Do.

    Tustin wins 42-17

  • UHWarrior says:

The only teams that have shown that they might be able to stop, or at least keep up with Tustin, is La Habra, THills, and Cypress. I can't wait for the playoffs.

  • Tyler says:

How is it possible that you have a Cyptress HS roster but NO NUMBERS? And 2 players without first names. C'mon, get your act together!

  • bighsfootballfan says:

La Habra , Trabuco Hills and Tustin are the "CLASS" of this division.........Cypress is real fortunate to be ranked as high as they are...line 6, line 20 .......doesnt matrter big big problem for them is their soft schedule.the really play nobody and it will show big time when they have to knock heads with class teams...........so enjoy your winning record and enjoy your 1 st round victory then sorry to say....its gonna get ugly!!!....early prediction for finals........La Habra vs Trabuco Hills and that my friends will be a barn burner of a game........

  • Is there any word on where the Southwest finals will be played this year?

  • bighsfootballfan says:

Anaheim Stadium along with the Pac-5 final same schedule as last year

  • whatshisname says:

line six ,hang in there. if every things pans out youll get your shot at la habra in semis, but even though it will be a classic youll come up short.just build on the experience for next year. no offense just a fact. until acouple of years ago ,clan was hearing same soft sched crap,so sched what pac 5 you can and dont worry about record, just get tougher. as for fullerton epic show down it will bre no doubt an epic let down by tribe . the only 1 dementional team to give clan a fight was last year in finals and your living in la la land if you think your in that class. all this game will prove is how bad the rest of freeway is from number2 to 6. hell I even doubt tribe could even win garden grove league. they are ranked 22 in oc varsity top 25. and then theres the tiller er killers from tustin living in their little double wing bubble. you keep blaming your 1 loss on not having wilk. well maybe your coach new you had no chance , so what better way to dodge a bullet by claiming injury. no disrespect intended but I would think a hammy would take a little longer than a week to fully recover, but look what he did in just 1 week. if any body other than la habra has theexperience to stop tustin it has to be eldo,so Im going with upset. to predictions eldo 28 tust 22 and la habra 48 fullerton 7.

  • hsfootballrules says:

Why all the fuss over the rankings? Who cares! Thank God it's not like D-1 college football so all these teams will get their shot of proving themselves and who is best on the field. For my money, I would love to see a Trabuco Hills vs. La Habra rematch from last year's semi-final game that was back and forth and went down to the wire. In my view, that would be the most entertaining final and an epic match up.

    • Thhfan says:

I agree, I believe it would have been a LH vs TH in the finals last year had TH played Tustin first. Let's see how the brackets fall this year.

  • empirefootball says:

someone besides the top 4 will make to the semis...i like the teams who are the underdog and no one talks about.

  • warren says:

Cypress should be number 3, period, no debate, that is it.

  • whatshisname says:

like who? your an empire fan with cypress at 4 so who do you see pulling an upset on top 4. ther is a huge gap between 4 cypress and 5 fullerton who will be exposed as not even a good d9 team on fri nov13th

  • hsfootballrules says:

Again, who cares? It will all be decided on the field. I'm with Empirefootball - Better to be laying in the weeds with no one paying attention to you and playing big when it matters most rather than talking big which doesn't matter at all...

  • LINE SIX says:

Listen, IDK where you guys think that Tustin & LH will just dominate over Cypress? There's a reason Cypress is where they are.

Actually, nevermind. You guys are all right. Cypress is soft, we like our cupcakes, and we'll get bounced in the first round. Keep those thoughts in your head come 3 weeks from now.

    • Thhfan says:

Need to be patient Linesix, a couple of years ago El Dorado was all the talk and LH and TH were the cupcakes. It takes time to build a program and it appears Cypress is on the up, so congrats on that and hang in there.

  • Tyler says:

The big question on Cypress is their schedule. They have beaten nobody. Yes, they have destroyed these nothing teams, but better to lose against superior opposition in preseason than to slap around cupcakes. It's the schedule that prepares you for the playoffs.

La Habra is the best team in the division, without question.

Tustin runs an offense that can be very difficult to stop, especially when you have talented backs. I don't know of any other CIF team that runs it as well as Tustin. Norwalk does a decent job with it, too, on a smaller scale.

  • empirefootball says:

Tyler I'm with you. I like teams with tough non league games and to be battle tested before league and the playoffs if you get there. Teams that faced adversity early on and battle through it proves a lot (to me at least). Now I know cypress players can't control who they play because its the AD and HC , those players have come to play no matter who's in front of them. Now they play pacifica this week who is by far their closet challenge since md. They have the size and speed that md has.

But anyways back to teams that get no pub and feed off of it

My big 2 are el dorado and pacifica. These two teams had an epic week 1 game with fast play and hard hitting. Both went through coaching changes , battled through some injuries, and have come together has a team. Even if cypress wins on thurs I wouldn't be surpised to see pacifica in the semis . Even if el do loses to tustin I wouldn't be surprised if they make a run.

My take on the southwest is I think its more evenly matched then last season. La habra is good but not as good as last yr I've seen them play 4 times and just doesn't look the same. Tustin imo their 18 man roster will catch up to them. In any given night in november and december anything can happen.

  • empirefootball says:

Just take a look at foothill last season. Went in as #1 overall and got smashed my the 16th seed pacifica mariners 35-7 . Anything can happend! Especially in this divison

  • cypkenalum21 says:

The preseason schedule has nothing to do with play off success. If you think about it 2007 cypress' pre season schedule went saddleback, artesia, Fullerton, pioneer, and LOS AMIGOS!!! By the end of the season we were still crowned champions. Football has nothing to do with schedule. Its heart on that given day. So all of you that say that cypress beat nothing teams have probably never played in a game where u lost to a LOS AMIGOS or played hard enough to beat an edison. The thing about cypress is that they dont take breaks including the coaches from the field all the way to the sidelines everyone is up. I was at a game and after half time all the coaches ran on the field and hyped up thier players even while they were up by 20 something. We have success in who ever we play simply because of "Line Six" we play as a team as well as a family. Because when a player is struggling another one is always there to pick him up. It all depends on heart. If you take a look, Anthony Wilkerson is what 6'1" 215lbs runs a what 4.5. AK runs that same 4.5 but is 5'9" 165 soaking wet maybe. Both tied with 26 Tds..same amount of games played. Have heart and you can achieve. Think about Katella and Valencia. Cypress wants revenge for last year because of the lack of heart they had in the first round. Tustin and La Habra better watch out. Come playoff time its a Wrap!!

P.S. Kody Maldanado deserves a TD!!

  • cypress says:

    THE PLAYOFFS ARE ALMOST HERE!!

    its GO TIME people!!

    LINE SIX FOR LIFE!!

  • LemB says:

Finals will be Trabuco Hills or El Toro v. LaHabra. Tustin is not nearly as good as last year. El Do or some team by the time the semi's roll around will stop them. El Toro is a team that is dangerous.. tough pre-season schedule, should have beat TH.. I would not want to face them in the playoffs they should make it to semi's no problem. Fullerton will get beat by LaHabra by 5 touchdowns. VP will get beat by Canyon Thursday and be fighting for a wild card berth to get in to the playoffs. Cypress will expose Pacifica this week.. won't even be close. SW Division is weak this year LaHabra should get another ring to add to their collection

  • hsfootballrules says:

Hey Cypress fans - GREAT support for your team, but honestly you need to stop talking...If your team is getting dissed, then it will show on the field, then you should talk and brag all you want...but not before. And I don't think anyone who supports the teams ranked in front of you have been dissing you. Rankings don't mean a thing with play-offs and by being in the top 4 the prognosticators are giving your team respect so enough already...My sleeper for the play-offs is El Toro. I would not want to play them. Dangerous team with a good defense...

    • LINE SIX says:

That's the thing hs, the teams in front of us fans HAVE been the ones dissing us. Every team has homer fans, granted. Especially us. But you'll see the real Line Six believers keeping them in check, for the most part. But when someone takes an uninformed stab at our team, it takes alot of character to not say anything back. 95% of Cypress fans are happy where we are at in the polls, and the other 5% don't know what their talking about.

Having said that, I personally think this is a close division. Any team in the Top 4 could beat any other. Each team has its own weaknesses. Tustin only has about 20 players, can they stay fresh for 48+ mins? La Habra has been there done that for 2 years in a row, do they expect a ring to be handed to them again? I dont know much about TH I admit. & cant Cypress keep up with these top tier teams physically? its going to come down to line play, as always.

      • Thhfan says:

Wow, I haven't seen any Cypress dissing here I just see a lot of whining from Line six. Let's just wait until the play offs and let the teams do the talking.

    • Bick says:

You're absolutely right.... We are fairly ranked at #4, and that's where it stays unless there's an unlikely upset of the top 3.

Also agree about El Toro. They were under-rated most of the year and have done a great job with their new coach.

  • Thhfan says:

No offense but ET still needs to face HB and Foothill, not that FH looks like a great threat this year but HB is hungry and looking to get that second spot. ET is looking fine this year, if TH hadn't changed QBs in the fourth quarter it would have been a different game. ET is in a building year with a new coach and not yet consistent through the entire game. But they could make it through the 2nd round.

  • ENCORE says:

Wow I'm gonna have to read some more of these before I say anything O.C.

  • UHwarrior says:

Unfortunately, rankings do make a difference when it comes to play-off time. Depending on where you rank in your league and in the overall CIF Division determines where your seeded in the playoff brackets. Being ranked no.1 thru no. 4 makes a big difference which bracket you fall into. La Habra was no. 2 last year and their playoff bracket to the finals was a "BEAR"! They earned everybit of that championship!

  • ENCORE says:

The Empire League has been the class of its CIF Section for awhile. And still will be this year.

  • brewbandit says:

STOP WITH THE LINE SIX STUFF. IT GETS OLD!.. Check the OC register. even friar says La habra has the best fans. Cypress is hardly mentioned by anyone. Great! you have spirit . but you dont have a the most or best fans, a great stadium to play in or any great traditions to speak of. . You need to earn respect not have it just given to you. After the payoffs, we can talk respect.

    • cypressalum says:

wow you pretty angry here. listen, i know you wish you were a part of line six too, but not everyone can be. but you dont have to "dis" it just because you are not a part of it. we have never boasted the best fans nor the best stadium. handel stadium isnt ours, we MAKE IT ours.

"even fryer says la habra has the best fans.." oh well that must mean they have the best fans since fryer is all knowing.."

you make no sense, and your "anger" is out of nowhere. why do you care if we are proud of LINE SIX?? its what we believe in and obviously something that you will never understand.

so good luck to your "tribe" or "clan" or "crew"... whatever you guys call yourselves.

      • brewbandit says:

Im not angry at all. I along with most of the readers of this blog agree with me that its just boring. We all believe that our school spirit is the best and you should also. Just wait til the playoffs and e will give props to whoevr is on top.

  • HSFOOTBALLFAN says:

The Southwest Div is a toss up any of the top 4 teams could be crowned CIF Champs.Highlanders have a great chance, great running back solid D sound passing and a Coach who's teams play thier best football durring the playoffs.Tustin wow what a running back,Cypress if u can play with MD u can play,Trabuco is big and well coached.Playoffs are going to be awesome Thank You

  • UHWarrior says:

HSF- Yes, I agree. Great take. I've been watching La Habra for several years now and it seems that they play tough in non-league, and go into cruise control during league play. When the play-offs come Coach Mazzotta puts the team in high gear. LH definitely ramps it up during the play-offs. You think the Highlanders are good now? Wait until the playoffs it's almost like another team.

In the last 10 years, LH has had 8 league championships, 9 consecutive playoff appearances, 5 final appearances, 4 CIF division championships, and a fifth title within their grasp.... believe me, La Habra only gets tougher in the play-offs. La Habra plays CHAMPIONSHIP football, baby!!

    • LINE SIX says:

WOW. With all sincerity intended those are some impressive stats. USC-like. But I'm going to play Devil's Advocate here and argue that all great things must come to an end. Just call us Oregon :) LOL

    • whatshisname says:

thanks for putting it all into perspective warrior. this is something NOBODY!! pays attention to with la habra. the season is just starting , and all parts are coming together for that final drive. example. o-line is in full throttle finally as seen against troy last week. while missing the juice last week casey /peko and crew were just blowin open holes and leading down field with blocking a grand mother could race her scooter through. no disrespect to avery but could you imagine if juice was out there last week. we would even be hearing about the kid from cypress or even wilk. take off the freeway ball and chain and I venture leading rusher in OC.

  • Highlander Fan says:

I am not sure the game with Fullerton will be a hay ride, but La Habra is #9 and Fullerton is wandering around above #20, it'll be a cake walk. I would think that the fourth quarter will go in real time because of the Freeway League La Habra rule. The one implemented to prevent La Habra from scoring above 50.

  • The Fullerton/La Habra game is never a cake walk. I think La Habra is the favorite, but Fullerton has pulled off a victory on their home field to a better La Habra team recent history. La Habra has to have their best game face on for that match-up. Any of the top 4 will make a great final game.

  • empirefootball says:

La Habra will smash Fullerton. It wont even be close. Also the Freeway league is a joke. 2 teams thats it, everyone else can fight for 3rd, not depth in that league what so ever.

  • whatshisname says:

obviously CIF vaoters dont seem to think so. empire only have 2 as opposed to freeway 3, and these are rankings that count towards playoff seedings. troy will run the table in remaining league games where pacifica gets another loss. the league you need to refer to as a joke is orange. all three that qualify will be in over there heads, and add a3rd from empire you have a recipe for last years 1st round fiascos , remember la habra vs ana and mag vs tustin?

  • empirefootball says:

Troy couldnt beat any of the top 4 (cypress, pacifica, valencia, kennedy) from the empire league. no i agree with you the orange league is the wrost league. i never the said the freeway was the wrost league, just not as good as people think.

    • whatshisname says:

no you didnt say they were the worst, you siad they were a joke, pick youre poison. and again we will never know if your other 2 schools could beat troy, or are better because it looks like cif reps disagree with you. and my guess also is you had problems with norwalks version of double wing ,how would you be able to stop troys wing t.

  • UHwarrior says:

Oh, to add to my previous take. After this year for La Habra, if the stars and planets align just right. Their School stats will be, 9 league championships, 10 consecutive playoff appearances, and 5 CIF Divsion championships. Unbeleivable!

  • nojoke says:

el dorado for there 3rd CIF tile in the past 4 years
    go hawks!

  • clan91 says:

Cypres this and cypress that line 6 is a whiner and thats a fact. win a big game. then talk all you want. GO CLAN!!!!!

    • L6 FAN says:

I love how you just attack Cypress out of nowhere. All we do is support our team while people like you have to bring in the trash talking. I just don't understand. And when we do win a big game, we will not "talk all (we) want" because we are not like La Habra, nor do we ever want to be like "the clan." That would mean we went down to your level, and we sure as heck are better than that. Cypress wins, La Habra wins...but Cypress wins with class.

      • Thhfan says:

Listen!!!! No one is trash talking Cypress. We are explaining that you have to beat better teams before you move up. Yes we are calling you whiners because all we hear is whining, you're over looked and better than everyone says and blah blah blah.
All you have to do is prove it in play offs, that's the only way you will gain the respect you are demanding.

    • LINE SIX says:

Clan that was cute, nice to see you're putting that LHHS education to good use. None of us are whining we're not saying that we should be any higher than where we are. We understand that we have played a weak schedule and haven't been tested.

What I don't understand is where you get the whining from. Just look through this thread like I did and you won't see any L6 person whining about where we are. I think you're misunderstood about the difference between whining and supporting. If we had come on here complaining about how we're only ranked number 4 and we should be #1 then that's whining. We just believe in our program and our team, that's all. If you can't tell the difference between the two then maybe you should be back in class at 1:48 in the afternoon than on a sports website.

  • empirefootball says:

First off. Did I say I back cypress? No I did not and no I don't. Didn't troy lose to pacifica 2 straight years even when they had coleman and the swaneys? Didn't pacifica beat fullerton the last 2 times they played in the playoffs? Also I never was banging on lh or fullerton just the rest of the league.

    • whatshisname says:

did they , you tell me. I think troy was 9-1when they lost to santa fe in semis and were 9-1 when they had to forfiet to slime balls from fullerton their senior year. the point is 1-3 freeway is rnked and 1-2 empire is ranked. hell I cant get over kennedy losing to valencia, and 1 of the 2 wont even get at large.

  • brewbanit says:

L6 FAN Dont worry about being like the clan. Your not. were winners!

  • ENCORE says:

Can.t wait to be at the game thursday. Then I can go home knowing the team to beat in the Southwest Division. PHS U R the BEST!

  • BALLER says:

ONCE AGAIN ALL HAIL THE MIGHTY HIGHLANDERS. THE BEST TEAM IN ALL THE LAND! THEY WILL KICK EVERYONES BUTT. THEY HAVE THE GREATEST COACHES EVER! THE GREATEST FIELD EVER, AND ALL THIER PLAYERS CAN KICK THE CRAP OUTTA ANY DIV. IN AMERICA. YES, BOW DOWN ONE AND ALL AS THE BAG PIPE AND FOG ROLL IN, FOR YOU ARE IN THE PRESENCE OF gods!!!

  • clan91 says:

Finally the message is clear. Thanks "Baller" Couldnt have said it better myself. GO CLAN!!!

  • I think the two best teams in the SW is the same as last year....La Habra and Trabuco Hills. That was the true conference battle last year!

  • nojoke says:

    are you serious?!!?
el dorado should of beaten la habra last year! they had that game in the bag until 3 untimely fumbles in the second half.. trabucco game was the same..last year couldve been either la habra trabucco or el dorado. tustin already lost to el dorado and still gat to the finals....wack!

  • NoJoke...many teams have thought they had a game won against the Highlanders. One of the reasons it is so hard to beat La Habra is THEY NEVER GIVE UP...THEY'RE ALWAYS IN THE GAME!!!! El Do never had last year's game in the bag.

  • josh says:

Kickoff in a little over an hour!! Let's go CYPRESS!!

    BEAT THE MARINERS!!

    LINE SIX!!

  • Glen Chervin says:

    canyon dad where you at?

  • UHWarrior says:

Wow, their have been some pretty harsh comments lately. However, I do find them funny. You guys are passionate about your teams and that's what make OC HS football great, the FANS.

On a side note, I watched the Cypress / Pacifica game last night, and I was impressed with Cypress's handling of Pacifica. AK Muhammed is a fantastic RB, his speed and agility is the best I've seen so far. However, he is not a powerhouse runner like Wilkerson at Tustin and Quezada at La Habra. Just a different style of runner, that's all. AK will be tough to handle in the playoffs.

With Cypress being in the playoffs it will be fun. Can Cypress match-up against Southwest Powers, La Habra, Tustin, Trabuco Hills, El Dorado, you betcha!

  • clan91 says:

wow all the tradition of 9- games this season should put Cypress on the same level as La Habra and El Dorado. NOT!!!!!! Do it for longer than 9-games and the respect will come. GO CLAN!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • True LH? says:

OH I'm tired of of hearing stuff about La Habra.....They shoudl try to win with players form LH not La Mirada, Whitter, La Puente (mr. Ques. #2), and Brea....

    • whatshisname says:

this has got to be a scumora raiderette calling out this kinda garbage, with nothing short of pure ignorance. even if your correct which your not, with open enrollment it doesent matter, just look at scumora and troys girls basketball. 1st off the lamirada kids are from the lowell joint school district[la habra junior high] and played in lamirada pop warner, so what? but your true ignorance is the referance to mr quesada, pure la habra, every year as a youth at la habra pop warner. but like I siad it doesent matter with open enrolment, just get over it. every kid starts out as a freshman some where so it just might be the program and coaching. and since you ignorant scumora arse brought up, what about the now 2 kids from servite at fullerton. and how does that work with the new one anyway, talk about apossible cif violation.

  • whatshisname says:

evry year we gotta hear the arguing over non football issues such as this name calling, all I know it will be a cool looking with all the blue and orange and purple. cant wait

  • brewbandit says:

Now can we all sing kumbaya

  • No Love? says:

awwwwww you two are just soooooo cute now ....
go ahead and hug and kiss boys
enjoy it now though .... come a month from now both of you will be talking trash across the sidelines
    GO CLAN
    GO LINE SIX
    may the best team win!

  • cypkenalum21 says:

Both of you are saying alot of assinine stuff..but i agree with brewbandit..trash talk is for the teams. But thats the only thing i agree with I think La Habra Football is just like the city..garbage haha. im Joking but neither of us know who is better until they play on that certain day. But honestly i cant see any team with the amount of threats as cypress.. We have AK of course...Jamil Douglas #14 recruit in the OC..Bug Rivera have you seen this kid on punt returns...and Jared Cohen a very respectable wide out..and Zacc Ortiz who doesnt like to go down..and thatsall on one side of the ball...Also i suggest that if u want your team to do well dont talk about your running bacc.. See i know AK personally and the last time someone was compared to him (Irvine's DaVontae Young) AK went nuts. Just a suggestion though..

P.s. Congrats on the 31 TDs this season so far.

  • whatshisname says:

heart and integrity? could you guys come back against a pac 5 perrenial in a see saw battle with seconds left and have the guts to go for 2pt conversion to win game ? doubt it since you couldnt against mater dud. heart and integrity? now your pissing me offf line six when I was showing you guys a little respect, now your going down.

  • line six mom says:

we dont need your respect nor do we want it.

  • LINE SIX says:

Oh I'm sorry you beat Clemente ONCE. Let's just start fitting you for rings now. & did I say that the entire clan didn't have these things? I'm pretty sure I was just talking about brewbandito. Listen I'm not saying that LH didnt earn the domination over the past decade. What they've done is nothing short of incredible. And 95% of the kids on that football team are model kids I'm sure. But you're always gonna have your bad eggs. I was just putting that bad egg out on the hot sidewalk to fry.

  • Line 6 says:

    you have problems beyond solving.

  • No Love? says:

something tells me you would struggle to say these things face to face ...
both of you are just really starting to get annoying .... i understand this is a blog site ... but seriously its a football site not a trash talk site ... its different to talk pride and to be proud of your school/team but both of you belong somewhere else ... try making an educational statement for once ... on that note ... this division is gonna be a dog fight from round one with a lot of teams that have been over looked ... pacifica has a great group of backs with size power and speed ... they are a big team! they have a solid D .... i wouldnt want to see them in any round of the playoffs thats forsure ... eldo is well balanced ... fullerton ... well if the lineman plays for them, i hope you have a good tackling secondary ....

  • LINE SIX says:

No racial overtones inteded. I add an o to the end of your name and I'm racist? I still have respect for the Highlander program, just not for you. And its a JOKE. if you can't see that then you need some serious help. It seems that you really have turned a corner, even if it is out of nowhere? Devil's Advocate rings a bell. Thanks for the prayers. You'll need them in a couple weeks.

  • LINE SIX says:

Good point, I let my emotions get the best of me and for that I apologize. You won't see that happen again from me. & I've made several educated posts just not lately, got caught up in something I know better than to get caught up in.

But I agree with you. the PAC is a very good, balanced team with a solid D, great backs, and experienced Oline. Cypress & Pacifica can make alot of noise in this years playoffs.

  • brewbandit says:

Line six...Never called you a racist and what you think is a joke, some might find offensive. I never get personal. I only trash talk teams and fans not people or your personal life. You are probably a great person. I just dont agree with your high school football views. Trash talking is fun and many people have told me they have read and laughed becouse I got under your skin. That is what trash talking is all about.
I really think Cypress is a very good team. Not as good as La Habra but really good. I hope you make it far enough in the playoffs to play us.

  • Line 6 says:

yeah and if....WHEN we do...we're gonna see just how under YOUR skin we will get.
