Notre Dame and Lakewood are no longer tied at No. 4 in the Pac-5 rankings.
Dana Hills jumps over Los Alamitos, which lost last week, and Orange Lutheran returns to the poll this week at No. 10.
The big three of Edison, Mission Viejo and Servite remained unchanged this week, but will that be the case next week?

If Bishop Amat wins their next two games they should definitely move up two or three slots. I think they are going be beat Crespi and give Notre Dame everything they can handle.
Seems unlikely but Mission could trip up this week on the road in San Clemente. That would definitely change the rankings.
Prediction, SC 23 MV 21!!!!
Prediction MV 60 SC 0
SC will score, even if it is when MV pulls their starters. The only way for SC to have a 0, MV would have to have less than 21 at the end of the game.
Bishop Amat is quietly lurking…………………..ya all better show some respect cuz people thety are big, fast, and for real…….believe mecouldnt believe the size znd quickness…………
I have tremendous respect for the second best league in the Pac 5 and There are two other teams that Amat faces first, Crespi and Notre Dame. The Serra will be tough against anyone.
the last two home games SC has had against MV they held MV at 7 points the whole game i think this is going to be another very exciting game for the south coast league
No matter what the records, one thing Eric Patton learned ,just like his teammate Bruce Rollinson, from their experiences at MD, is that Pride and 100% effort can make a seemingly dubious task, more than capable of being done. Anything can happen in such an emotional game. Good luck to all.
I’m very sorry, but does anyone still believe that J Serra should be mentioned here. They once again are payuing the price for their creampuff non-league schedule. Their first win over SM hardly makes them contenders. I’ll give them respect when I see Dana, Laguna Hills, San Clemente, or even Capo on their early schedule.
Wow, I can’t believe you guys don’t have Tesoro ranked somewhere in the Top 10…OC Register/Varsity guys must not vote on CIF rankings…
no ones gonna even challenge edison in the playoffs
scratch that ……maybe dana or if they meet lakewood
Excuse me??? At least you mentioned two of at least six. Don’t be surprised by early round upsets…they happen yearly. Every team that gets in has the ability to put forth enough energy to manufacture a victory. I will say that Edison has been the best conditioned to this point. Teams with excellent coaches that can make necessary adjustments will reap rewards.
Bishop Amat is my pick this year boys!
“no one is going to even challege Edison in the playoffs”? They need to get past league first. Beware, the Vikings are lurking at the end.
