Girls volleyball: Newport Harbor-Los Alamitos postponed

The much anticipated showdown between No. 1 Newport Harbor and No. 2 Los Alamitos scheduled for tonight has been postponed due to a scheduling error.
The Sunset League match was originally slated for Friday (Oct. 30). However, Newport Harbor is participating in the Santa Barbara Tournament on Friday and Saturday, and the Sailors thought they had agreed to play the match tonight.
It didn’t work out that way.
Now the teams are aiming for Thursday as the makeup date for that. Both teams have the date open, but the only question is can they schedule officials in time to play the match?
They will know Wednesday if they have officials. Check back here later for an update.

Chris, you do not make sense. The game was scheduled TONIGHT. Then you say it was originally scheduled for Friday. As far I know it has always been scheduled for Tuesday October 27. Then you say the game is resheduled for Thursday. Somebody has put Newport Harbor in a rough spot. They have a game league tomorrow night, then a rescheduled game Thursday. A tournament game Friday in Santa Barbara and games Saturday and Sunday. Something smells fishy! And it’s not Newport Harbor..
