Outlook: Laguna Hills is in the process of giving itself the best farewell to the Pacific Coast League present.
The Hawks, who are slated to join the South Coast Conference next year, is on a 13-game unbeaten streak in the Pacific Coast League.
The Hawks have won or shared three consecutive league titles. The script for this season’s team is rather similar to what it has used in the past: strong rushing attack and tough defense.
Matt Martindale leads the Hawks with 605 rushing yards and six touchdowns. He rushed for 278 yards in his past two games.
Since starting the season 1-2, the Hawks are on a four-game winning streak. During the streak, they are allowing just 6.7 points a game.
Beckman started the season 3-1, but has gone 1-1-1 in the last three, including a 21-21 tie with Woodbridge on Oct. 8.
Keith Lawson has rushed for 1,168 yards for the Patriots. Lawson has already has posted some amazing performances this season. He has recorded 181-, 191-, 217-, 229- and 254-yard games this season.
