Orange Lutheran defeated Mater Dei for the fifth year in a row, 28-25, on Friday night in a game that featured seven lead changes. Victor Blackwell set a Mater Dei record with 257 yards receiving and three touchdowns. 

Orange Lutheran’s backup QB, Mike Markovsky, threw for four touchdowns. He led the Lancers on a scoring drive with 15 seconds left in the game, but Mater Dei had one last chance to win it.
