THURSDAY
4 – The number of second quarter touchdowns scored by Garden Grove to blow open a scoreless game Thursday night against Laguna Beach. The Argonauts went onto a 41-6 victory.
230 and 3 – Passing yards and touchdowns recorded by Aliso Niguel’s Joseph Galosic in a 41-8 victory over Marina Thursday. The victory was the second consecutive for the Wolverines after an 18-game losing streak.
228 – DeAngelo Bonner’s (Troy) new career-high in rushing yards in a 49-21 victory over Diamond Bar Thursday. Bonner also scored four touchdowns.
28 – First quarter points scored by Cypress in its 41-7 victory over University.
34-21 – Final score of Saddleback’s nonleague game over Century. The victory was the first for the Roadrunner program since Nov. 17, 2006.
13 – Points allowed by the Los Alamitos defense in Thursday’s 28-13 victory over La Habra. These are the only points that the Griffins have allowed all season through four games.
184 – Rushing yards gained by Los Alamitos running back Nick Richardson in the game against La Habra. He also scored two touchdowns.
198 and 3 – Rushing yards and touchdowns for Tustin’s Anthony Wilkerson as Tustin defeated Western, 52-0.
1,038 – Season rushing yards for Anthony Wilkerson so far this season. He has scored 16 touchdowns.
12 – The amount of points that Mater Dei led No. 1 Edison early in the third quarter of Thursday’s game.
7 – Yards that Edison quarterback Matt Viles rushed to score the game-winning touchdown in the 36-29 double overtime victory over Mater Dei.
4th and 1 – That’s the play Mater Dei needed to convert in the second overtime against Edison, but running back Jordan Allen was stopped by the Edison defense.
FRIDAY
248 – Rushing yards gained by the Dana Hills offense in its 41-7 victory over Newport Harbor.
6 – Sacks recorded by the Dolphins against the Sailors.
223 – Total yards gained by San Clemente’s David Espino (120 rushing, 103 receiving) to help the Tritons to a 35-14 victory over El Toro. Espino scored four touchdowns in the game.
2 – Touchdown passes by Narbonne’s Chad Dashnaw to Cornelly Wiley in overtime to lead the Gauchos to a 37-31 double overtime victory over Orange Lutheran.
245 and 3 – Rushing yards and touchdowns for Irvine freshman running back DaVonte Young as the Vaqueros defeated Northwood, 31-7.
5 – Turnovers forced by the Mission Viejo defense in a 40-7 nonleague victory over Murrieta Valley.
238 and 3 – Spencer Tyson (Santa Margarita) rushing totals and touchdowns as the Eagles topped Orange, 41-6.
325 – Rushing yards gained by Estancia’s Alex Abalos in a 42-7 victory over La Quinta. Abalos scored three touchdowns in the game.
5 – Touchdown passes for Kennedy’s Andy Peterson in a 32-27 victory over Downey.
3 – Second quarter touchdowns (one rushing and two passing) by JSerra’s Bobby Brown to set to the Lions on the way to a 34-15 victory over Pacifica.
36 – Length of Huntington Beach kicker Eric Chan’s game-winning field goal to lift the Oilers to a 19-16 victory over Westminster.
3 – Consecutive victories for Tesoro after recording a 21-7 victory over El Dorado. The Titans started the season 0-2.
270 – Rushing yards gained by Fountain Valley’s Kyle Middlebrooks in a 42-14 victory over Scripps Ranch. Middlebrooks scored four touchdowns in the game.
11 – Number of yards Kyle Middlebrooks missed setting a new school single-game rushing record. The previous mark of 281 was set by Willie Gittens in 1978.
28-7 – Halftime lead for Esperanza over Ferris of Spokane.
41-35 – That’s the final score in overtime as Ferris rallied thanks to four second half touchdown passes from quarterback Conor Holiday (Washington St.).
