There were a lot of worthy candidates this week, almost too many to list. However, I think I settled on one who deserves mentioning.
This week’s offensive star of the week is …
Edison QB Matt Viles
Viles set a new school record with 457 passing yards in a 34-17 road victory over Dana Hills Thursday. Viles, a senior, completed 24 of 38 passes and 3 touchdowns in the game. Viles had 280 passing yards at halftime.
