19. Canyon
(8-5 overall, 4-1 and tied for 1st place in Century League in 2008)

Canyon lost plenty of good players to graduation, including Century ’08 defensive MVP Jay Kirschner at linebacker. But this program keeps finding good ones. Among the better returnees is defensive end Josh Seiler, all-league second team last season as a sophomore. The Comanches might not unseat El Dorado for the league championship, but they should be playoff-bound again. In last year’s playoffs, Canyon beat Empire League champion Cypress in the first round and fourth-seeded Fullerton in the second before losing to Tustin in the semifinals.
