(6-6 overall, 4-1 and 1st place tie in Century League in 2008)

Jeff Bailey, who coached the Golden Hawks to two CIF championships, has departed to launch the football program at new Yorba Linda High. But his replacement, longtime Valencia assistant coach Shawn Racobs, inherits a solid program and a good team. Among the returnees is ’08 all-league first-team running back/defensive back Brook Dunn, second-team all-league receiver/defensive back Chris Manassero, and three returning starters on the offensive line. Tustin looks like the best team in the Century League, but El Dorado will bear watching again.
