While covering Flip Darr’s memorial Sunday night in Dana Point, I learned that several players of the late coach are now aquatic coaches in Orange County.

Yes, the number of ways Darr impacted the sport is pretty impressive.

From modeling Olympians, his training innovation to starting programs like the ones at Saddleback College, Darr certainly was a Hall of Famer.
