I was outvoted at the football all-star recognition dinner, in May, when it was decided that The Media made the South a two-point favorite, or some similar spread.

I like the North because I like that North defense.

Nothing against the South, which has a lineup of excellent players, too.

North 16, South 14.

I picked the North to win by two last year, too, and the North did win, 12-10. Nobody congratulated me. But if I get this one wrong, people will be all over me.

Does it seem like I'm whining?
