  • Stu Gotz says:

Does anyone know when the unwanted FVHS varsity baseball coach going to resign?

  • dont ever coach again says:

about time that coach resigns shit i remember sunny hills use to be somewhat strong before him maybe if they had decent coaches they would've at least made playoffs the last couple of years especially how they beat one of the best teams a few years back in the county

  • patino sucks says:

yeah to dont ever coach again.... they beat sonora my sons senior year and if they would've had any other coach someone that actually knew waht they were doing and wasnt a physco maybe they would have gone because they were good as a team on there own not under patino but under themselves

  • let the kids play says:

Read between the lines: SHHS new football coach trys to get his brother Paul (La Habra Varsity baseball coach) to help with football. Read the the article below and Paul does not want to do different sports at different schools and then "WOW" the Head baseball coach at Sunny hills opens up.......hymmmm....... Just a thought.

“I had no desire to leave Whittier Christian,” Jon Caffrey said. “But this was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up, an opportunity to go into that league and play those schools.”

Jon said he tried to get Paul to become offensive coordinator at Sunny Hills, but Paul did not like the idea of coaching at one school in the fall and at another in the spring. (Trying to get your younger brother in trouble, eh, Jon?)

  • glass half full says:

makes since but you got to think that he allready has teaching position at lhhs and why burn bridges.

    • let the kids play says:

I'm hoping for the "blood is thicker than water" approach. This could make for some interesting times at SHHS over the next few years.
