FULLERTON – Sung Moon scored three goals and Esteban Martinez added two more as Sunny Hills cruised to a 6-0 victory against Western in a pool play game at the Sunny Hills Summer League on Wednesday.
It is the Lancers’ biggest offensive output so far this summer. Coming into this game they had scored just one goal through two games, getting shutout, 2-0, by Freeway League rival La Habra this past Thursday.
But Sunny Hills coach Mike Schade wasn’t completely happy with what he saw on Tuesday.
“You miss the intensity. I want to see them play under pressure,” he said. “La Habra put pressure on us, and look what happened.”
