Here is the 2009 football schedule for the Troy Warriors.

Not a bad schedule. I say we go 7 - 3 this year and make the playoffs.
They missed the Bellflower game week 3 on Sept. 25th. Curious, Yort, what 3 games do you plan to lose?
Ha ha, not planning on losing any. We have a few tough games, but I think a 7-3 record would be respectable going into the playoffs. Troy will be solid for the next several years.
How's your team gonna be? Will it have any sophomores starting?...Has Justin Austin gotten any faster?
I admit, we don't have the toughest schedule in the league. Maybe, this will allow some sophmores to start giving them experience. We will need a tougher schedule next year. Justin Austin may not be the fastest guy out there, but he is strong and hard to take down.
thats what troy said, but they lost their homecoming came against the lancers.hope you guys step it up but there are other teams out there getting big like the hulk and fast as flash.

It's funny how Troy has one bad season and they are now the step child of the Freeway League. Until last year Troy beat Fullerton for five straight seasons, and beat La Habra during that time. When was the last time Fullerton beat La Habra, or any one else in the Fwy League for that matter? Troy is rising and will be back on top of the Fwy League soon enough.
your right yort and you guys had a very decent frosh squad last season that was hands down the best after la habra,should be fun as years go by. I dont know how fullerton has even stayed in there the last couple years because their lower levels have not been that good.
We can stop speculating on the success of Troy: we have almost everyone comming back and we are more motivated than ever. We may not be the most talented, but we work hard and we will see if it pays off. We had our rebuilding year, and now we're ready to rock. Go Warriors!!!
And one more thing, do watch out for Justin Austin. He may not be the fastest, but in practice he's a new guy and he will be ready, no worries.

We lost a few sophs for different reasons; focus on other sports, moved out of the area, etc. Most of the really good ones are returning. Not sure of one that you're referring to, got a name?
Actually a starting varsity player, i'm curious to see who this is tho. Austin WAS good last year. This blogger is obviously not a varsity player because this blog was put up during varsity practice. That's cute tho trying to be the big i'm varsity guy, too bad your not
Calpreps.com has Troy picked to finish 3rd in league. We could easily go 4-1 in league and finish 2nd. Fullerton will be a disappointment this year.

hello , hello, wake up now ,its time to come out of your dream and go to school raider fan. if you noticed I have you 6th. and since we gague success on how lower levels develop and what coaching staffs do with them you guys suck on both. troy on the other hand doesnt. and unless you guys have done some recruiting which would be ridiculous since nobodt would want to go to a loser, and you cant even get la habra or fullerton kids, you will finish 6th. I believe the Austin ybarra kid went to LH because for one he has a little brother who is now a freshman there who is an absalute stud and they would make a great duo!! two he wants to win football games and have a shot at a title and three he wants to win football games and have a shot at a title and four he wants to win football games and have a shot at a title! Sounds like a smart kid.... i heard there were a few more tranfers from troy going to LH? roomer or not? but the fact is if you want to win football games troy is not the place to be! fullerton or La Habra is the place to be!! again NOTHING BUT THE FACTS!!!!!!
Why Fullerton? Last year was the first year Fullerton beat Troy in at least six years. Why all of a sudden is Fullerton such a powerhouse?

THE FACT IS ,TROY HS. LET AUSTIN DOWN, NOT THE TEAM! DURING THE SUMMER HE WAS PUT IN A MATH CLASS THAT HE HAD NO BUSINESS BEING IN, BUT NOT TILL THE END OF SUMMER SCHOOL,THEY WONDERED WHY HE WAS PUT IN THAT CLASS AND FAILED, GUESS WHAT WE WANTED ANSWERS FROM THE ADMIN. AND FOR 2 WEEKS NOBODY CALLED US AND NO ONE WANTED TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY,EVERYONE PASSED THE BUCK AND WE JUST WENT ROUND AND ROUND WITH IT,THEY JUST DIDNT CARE! TROYS FOCUS IS TO BE #1 IN ACADEMICS BUT THEY DO FORGET THE OTHER STUDENTS! SO IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO CONTINUE TALKING ABOUT MY SON, COME OVER AND WE'LL TALK, BUT DONT GO AROUND SAYING WHAT YOU DONT KNOW!....AND YES I AM HIS DAD..SO NOW YOU KNOW WHO I AM, COME OUT FROM HIDING AND BE A MAN! The front office of Troy can be very difficult to deal with but you can not lay all the blame on the school. If the school admin was not going to help then you should have contacted the district office. But that is now water under the bridge. I was able to watch Austin play and and he will have a good time playing for the Highlanders. Just remember to say hi to your former teamates when you play each other.
Hitter, I was responding to "nothing but the facts". He came on the "troy" scheddule and started it. This was just banter, which I defend. Everyone is anonimous on these sites for a reason, since it has taken a personal turn I will cease talk.
amazing , that isnt banter ,that was a personal attack and you got busted. and your coment on most boys switched grades because of grades is absurd. not every student at troy enrolls in the troy tech program. believe it or not some go to school where theyre zoned , remember it used to be west of gilbertyou went to bphs , west of euclid shhs, west of ryamond fuhs and east of raymond troy . but since open enrolment now it doesnt matter, so not all your students are techies just kids trying to get a hs diploma
Honestly, who cares Ybarra left, ok now lets move on. Troy is a place of great academics and a tradition of good sportsmanship, ethics, and hard work. Too bad Austin had an admin problem, but lets move on. Our success is not dependent on one player, and he moved on for his personal reasons, and that's fine. Now it's time to concentrate on winning games and having a great season. The only difference is we will be seeing Austin in a different color. Good luck to him, no hard feelings, and go TROY! Three more days till hell week!!!! Get ready!!!
oc best, my response to nothin but the facts was banter, I responded to him in the same way he spoke. Personal? every other thing on these blogs are personal read some of the things you write. I never said anything about the tech program. I will respect Mr. ybarra because he felt he needed to come forwaed to defend his son and I will not go further it's done.
Well speaking from experience......The Troy Administration & Coaching Staff do have a way of running out on those who go above and beyond for the Athletic Program! This includes Parents as well as Staff they are a very political oriented school and yes they are concerned more about ACADEMICS then SPORTS! I know trust me I know! I've witnessed concerned parents try and talk to coaches and administrators with no success and that to me is a sign of a " we dont care" kind of attitude which totally stinks! The Troy football team from what I know has always had a "BIG" heart and they have always shown CLASS and RESPECT both on and off the field! Troy football has much respect for LA HABRA HIGH as well especially after the forfiture they suffered when I won't say the name of the school that took that away from them but we know who they are and so do they! Anyway enough of this disrespecting crap, beside's your not the one's play'n the game you'r son's are so let them play the game and stop making life harder on them then it already is PLEASE!! I still love the game and the fact that these boys learn alot the 4 years they play ball let them live the DREAM for them selves not for you!! I have a G'son first one the one thing I'm not gunna do is be his secondary coach thats why we have coaches they teach them & besides what you learn back in the day may not have changed much.....please leave the kids alone let them learn from someone who is paid to teach them! Dad'a take a back seat,enjoy the ride and SUPPORT your boys!
And no I not affraid to leave my real name it's a free country I have the right to say what I want a because it's all truth no lies (first amendment right) The right to speak freely and yes I did work there at one time for about 12 years as the equipment manager some of you might know me! So if anyone can say something it's me I worked with many Troy students dealt with their problems and issues and trust when a student needed someone to talk to I was there for them!! The parents knew it and so did staff BUT oh well so much for supporting staff and protect them!! Alot of you only know what you hear but none of you know the truth just remember that!!!

This all started by an innocent question asked by oc best, warrior responded and called that player by name, warrior teamate then said in part of his response "I will put a bounty on your head". What? If you don't know the "LAW", that was an out right verbal physical threat made through the jnternet. Now, I don't know how severe a crime it is but it is a crime nonetheless. PERSONAL? NOW THAT WAS PERSONAL, NOW WHO IS THIS WARRIOR TEAMATE HMM... WHY HASN'T ANYONE SAID ANYTHING ABOU THAT, NOTHING BUT THE FACTS?That is when I said what I said about high school football and things that go with it. Don't take things out of context if you are going to quote me, Incidently, what is your interest in Troy? why are you so concerned about Troy? haha that actually is very true. The only problem is warrior teammate is not acutally a teammate, so it's ok if he makes threats
he is a liar so if he claims he's on the team and he's not, then he can lie about putting a bounty on my head. But i agree with JImmy. Sorry your situation panned out the way it did, you were a great part of our program. YOu did a great job. BUt amazing thanks for deciphering the facts for our less intellectual bloggers

.....geez........................simmer down folks! We are talking high school football here, not solving world hunger. I understand people defending themselves when accusations are made and folks are pointing fingers, but this thread has gone off the rails. Let's hope the boys have fun during the season, and maybe they can learn some life lessons along the way, which really is what it's all about, right?..............

Warrior, as a player can you give us a breakdown of Troy's strengths and weaknesses?
Well we have lost 7 line backers this past year due to: injury, acadmics, school moves, country moves, and surgery. The D line this year should be great, with returning nose Jeff Son, the best dline plaryer in the league. The right end position is open, and that's it for the dline. The secondary is good, but we have a sophmore back there so i'm not too sure how he will do, i guess we will both see. Then on the other side of the ball, our oline is young, but there are a few young guys who have stepped up, not sure their names, but they are sophmores. Actually one is McPhillips and i don't know the other. The quarter back, Kyle Smith is great and our backs are solid. Wide reciever is a new junior becuase all league reciever Manual Carrillo moved to LB so we have a new riciever, but we run a running offense so its now a huge deal. But for sure we want a dual attack. And i think thats it. We will do better than expected this year, i've talked to some other starters and we want to put Troy on the map like it was two years ago. We lost only a few guys last year, so almost everyone is returning. We will make some noise in the freeway league this year, for sure. lol ! when it's all said and done it's about the KIDS and what they get out of it.! but it wont stop me from coming on here and stating the facts! sorry troy LH will win leauge again and will most def make it to the semi finals and really only has one team to worry about this year and it's not Los Al or San clemente it's South Hills! they have about 7 new tranfers all ranked as top players and all in the skilled positions again nothing but the facts!

Just when this blog was getting good they remove some of the posts.
Facts, like I said no hate intended, just having some fun. I'm hispanic myself, so can't be racial. I'm looking forward to this year and next. We get some good experience playing LH, just like you do against Los Al and SC. Win or lose we get good to test our team and see where our strengths and weaknesses are more so than we do against a team like Sonora or BP. I hope you do well in the playoffs it represents the FWY league in a positive way. Good luck.
