Hey aroundthebases...open your eyes a little. Duncan is a good player and maybe could have made it on this list but how can you say that any of these guys are not better than him. Esquerra, Lorenzen, and Ficociello were the top hitters in the league. Belleque was the top pitcher in the league and Salinas was not too far behind. Rather than complaining why Duncan didn't make it why don't you just congratulate the guys who did. Congratulation’s to all of the Freeway League players who did make this list. But it isn't fair to say that the other Fwy League players didn't play better or produce more. Take another look at the stats on MaxPreps, overall and league play. From my observation Cole Duncan from Troy is an error of omission. I think he was a Freeway league leader, or near the top in hitting and pitching. Too not receive even 2nd team acknowledgement seems to be just wrong. Several other Freeway league players are listed, none played better or produced more than Cole.
