Former Register player of the year J.W. Krumpholz, now at USC, has captured the Cutino Award, which goes to the top male collegiate water polo player.
A 2008 Olympic silver medalist, Krumpholz is the third consecutive Orange County male to win the award, following Tim Hutten (UC Irvine/Los Alamitos) and John Mann (Cal/Corona del Mar).
Congrats to J.W. and Foothill water polo.
