Obviously, she is a world-class water polo player since she has already been named to the USA national team. I'm very impressed. "Aquatics fans" do not follow both swimming and water polo. I think the problem is Dries has never participated in club swimming, so "swim fans" really are not familiar with her name. Also, Laguna Beach high school is a Division 3 school, so alot of people will underestimate how fast she might swim. Annika's CIF swim times are solid, but not remarkable: 1:54.66 200 free, 52.97 100 free. Cindy Tran has a huge fan base because she has been a part of the swim scene for more than 10 years.
