Kyle Middlebrooks is an extraordinary football player wwho dazzled the football season with amzing moves and lightning speed. Now he has translated that to the track with the 2nd fastest 100M time in the state. As well as most likely going to qualify for the state meet.
Go Kyle.
                                                                              -Darius Durham II

I've coached Robert as a baseball player since he was 12 years old. It's been a privilage to see him grow into the kind of athlete and more importantly person, we always thought he'd become. Not only that, he's a product of great parenting.

When I watched one of the Laguna Hills baseball games things were getting pretty heated between them and the team they were playing. One thing that I noticed was the sportsmanship and class that Refsnyder showed throughout that game. Even though many of the players on both sides of the field showed anger and that they were upset, Refsnyder showed a positive and mature attitude. Hats off to him, he is one of the finest athletes I've ever met, both inside and out.

Both young men are fine athletes. What amazes me about Refsnyder, besides his many other accomplishments, is the fact that he led his team to an undefeated CIF Championship in football as a first-time quarterback and played both ways. Wow! He's also on the roster for the OC North/South all-star baseball game. Refsnyder seems to be the consummate natural athlete with a self-driven motivation to excel and win. My vote goes to Refsnyder this time.

Quite a year for both outstanding athletes but Middlebrooks being a junior and having a another year to compete in High School sports i tend to give my vote in this close semi-final round to Refsnyder who had a good solid year on the gridiron and exceeded expectations on the diamond, not to diminish the effort put forth by mr. Middlebrooks but in a tight race Refsnyder is my choice in this action.
