The playoffs are alive and popping off here at Esperanza High. Santa Margarita turned in a strong Game 2 performance, overcoming a slow start and taking the game 25-21.
Esperanza has lost a bit of its fire from the opening game, and the crowd has quieted down some too. The Eagles are steadying out. It's important for the Aztecs to regain their energy level in Game 3.

Esperanza uses its last timeout, behind 23-20. Michael McMahon has owned this game with his serving, recording 3 aces. Tanner Jansen and Ryan Baine are controlling the outsides. The Aztecs aren't getting their hands on many balls this game.

The Eagles slow start to Game 2 is behind them. They are starting to find their rhythm and lead 17-14 with Esperanza calling a timeout. Ryan Baine is playing great for the Eagles.

Eagles have fought back and taken a 10-9 lead, using a 5-0 run to go ahead.

The Eagles have called time out after falling behind 7-3. They need to find their energy are they are going to get blown away quickly. They missed two more serves, had a double hit and a net violation already this game.
