Matches: Top half: Quartz Hill-Bishop Diego; West Valley-Loara; Santiago/Corona-Santa Ynez; Tahquitz-Oak Park; Bottom half: Mayfair-Californai; Hemet-Cypress; Santa Monica-Oaks Christian; Lancaster-Norco

Outlook: The Saxons face an at-larger squad in West Valley, and must travel for their second round match. Cypress must also hit the road for their match against Hemet. Both teams have strong chances of moving on, with the slight edge going to Cypress.
