Top four seeds: No. 1 Valencia/Placentia; No. 2 Claremont; No. 3 Long Beach Poly; No. 4 Corona

Other seeded county teams: None

Team playing with the most confidence: Valencia. The Tigers got an added boost to their lineup with the return of their top singles player.

Team with nothing to lose: Clarmemont. They were ranked high in the Division III poll, and may have been expecting the top seed.

Outlook: Valencia’s and Claremont’s talent seems to be far superior than the rest of the field. It seems they are destined to meet in the finals.
