This week I am picking the Top 5 Series of the Week. Here is one of them:
Brea Olinda (12-10, 7-4) vs. Canyon (13-8, 9-2)Wednesday at Canyon; Friday at Brea Olinda
When:
Outlook: Canyon begins the week with a two-game lead over Brea Olinda in the competitive Century League.
Canyon has a one-game lead over El Dorado, which is playing Villa Park.
Brea Olinda leads Villa Park by one game for third place.

Canyon is coming off of a two-game sweep of Tustin last week. Shannon Driscoll had seven RBIs in the series.
Brea Olinda split a pair with Villa Park last week both games were low-scoring affairs. Villa Park won Wednesday’s game 4-3 and Brea Olinda responded with a 2-1 victory.
The Wildcats won the first meeting, 8-1, making it that much more important for Canyon to try to sweep, so it can have the tiebreaker.
Will it happen? Or is Brea Olinda about to turn this league upside down?

brea is a solid team and i think they are going to beat canyon today and el dorado is going to win league because el dorado is the top team in the century league
finally brea is getting some respect solid team
Canyon is the one not getting respect they are now 10 and 2 and El dorado is still getting rated higher in the polls. With a 2 game lead over el dorado with 3 games to play the fat lady is getting ready to sing
You get respect on the field not in the papers. Your team is good but lately the only wins you get are when Ferragamo is on the mound. Brea proved it again today. You won’t make it far in the playoffs with only 1 pitcher.
1 pitcher??? what are you talking about?? I’m on the canyon team and we have more than 1 guy who can get the job done. We have alex najera—beast—- we got Trevor lampe—- …. What about jon south…. Mater dei is scared of him!!!! Zach jones!!! Joey boney is an all star .. Same with p- Starr … Our outfielders are bomb … Lusky and moose know how to get it done… Richens and k-rod… weir…nestor barraza all lead by Mr. Coach Hoggatt… We have an amberdextrous pitcher. We beat brea wed. Which was a walkoff… We are gunna wrap it up on Tuesday and into da playoffs!
