Battered, bloody, and bruised, Orange Lutheran senior Staci Foster will take home scars and a county 1600 title from today’s championships.
Foster survived a scary fall in the last lap of the race to win the competition in a time of 5:00.01.
Despite being spiked during the four runner fall, Foster got to her feet and took the lead with 200 meters to go, and claimed the win.

Stacie Foster has the heart of a champ and the desire of a lion… She rocked that mile and proved that she is one of the top milers in the state. Good Job Stacie!
