The Southern Section Council on Tuesday overwhelmingly passed a proposal that seeks to clean up boys and girls soccer.
Under the rule passed, if a team receives four “hard” red cards during the season, it will be put on probation for one year and will lose four matches the following season.
If the team receives three red cards while on probation, it will be removed from the playoffs for one year.

This could be a disaster as the refs are so inconsistent and some are just really bad.
As assistant commissioner Kristine Palle pointed out today – the common denominator for red cards is not the officials – it’s the repeat offending squad
Personally, I think this rule could have been tougher – especially that part of three reds on probation. My goodness, that is loose
HAHA THEN AS A PLAYER, I DESERVE BETTER REFEREE’S, AND THEY SHOULD GO THROUGH AN EXTENSIVE PROGRAM, BECAUSE THEY ARE PURE HORRIBLE.
In order for this to be fair, the RC’s shld be able to be petitioned in certain cases. Too often, the Refs act as God (yes there calls stand during a match), yet they are human beings & subject to mistakes too.
I understand & agree w/ the intent of this law but I’ve seen blantant & horrible RC’s issued before and without a review commitee of the RC, I believe this to be unfair.
The Refs will screw this one up big time.
