No. 5 JSerra (14-5, 5-2) vs. No. 10 Orange Lutheran (14-6, 4-3)

When: Wednesday at Hart Park, 7 p.m.; Saturday at JSerra, 6 p.m.

Outlook: JSerra went undefeated (5-0) in the Anaheim Lions Tournament, allowing 17 runs. The Lions have won six consecutive games and 10 of 11, including a 10-2 victory over Orange Lutheran on  March 25.

JSerra is tied with Mater Dei for first place in the Trinity League. JSerra’s pitching staff, led by Joe Kurrasch (5-1), has been outstanding during this streak.

The Lions tossed a one-hit shutout against Calvary Chapel and Graham Wiest (5-2) closed the Lions Tournament with a victory over Cypress.

Be afraid of JSerra sophomore Austin Hedges.

The Lancers are one-game behind JSerra and Mater Dei. Orange Lutheran went 3-2 in the Anaheim Lions Tournament.

The Lancers have the arms – led by Bobby Wheatley (3-2, 2.18), Art Vidrio (3-0, 0.63) and Andrew Thurman (4-4, 2.21) — that could slow down the JSerra attack.

Will this be enough?
