  fryer the south coast league is all out of the top 5, din’t tesoro beat jserra up? so much love for the trinity league.

    Fryer, you are such a HONK for the Trinity League. If the South Coast League All-Stars played the Trinity League All-Stars, the SCL would completely destroy the Trinity League.

  I can tell you why Tesoro is not in the top five.
  They lost to Cypress 7-4 in the Lions Tournament and Cypress lost to JSierra like 5-2 or something.
  But you all have a valid point when it comes to Fryer’s love for the Trinty League. Heck, can you blame him though? His son went to Servite.

  How does Mission get votes even though they’re number 13. Do Beckman and El Dorado not get anything even though they’re ranked higher? Seems like something is wrong with the system here.

  hello huh?
  fryer is only about the trinity league. he needs to expand to the better league in the county. by the way look at the box score for tesoro/ cypress. you will see how cypress won.

  My man Ralph Mouth-
  I wouldn’t say better league in the county, uh … maybe … I would say a highly competitive league at best. There is a lot of great talent in orange county where i truely believe you take teams from all over from plenty of leagues and their records would be completely different.
  As for the Cypress vs. Tesoro game i can look at the box score but that wouldn’t show me anything except Cypress won and what innings each team scored in and maybe how many errors each team had.
  But lucky for you I attended the game and saw first hand what happened. Tesoro came out hot swinging the bats very well. As the game went along and Cypress mounted its come back Tesoro grew anxious and started swinging at pitches up in the zone and not executing when they had people on base. Cypress on the other hand did what was needed to win the game. They made Tesoro play defense by bunting and running the bases effectively. Not to mention as the game went along they became more patient at the plate and made the Tesoro pitchers pitch and not just throw which is huge in high school baseball.
  But Ralph no way am i trying to take a knock at your team or league. I believe you have a great team, they are solid and rightfully deserve a top ten spot. That is a team of great class and those arent boy’s over there they are men and they will go far into the playoffs.
  Who cares what Fyer thinks about the Trinity or who he talks about. The county knows a good team when we see one, just go out and win games and go deep into the playoffs. Heck! When you get there beat some Trinity League teams. That will really show who the best is.
  You can win all the league and non-league games you want but when it comes down to when it matters most that’s when you see who the best of the best are. Who raises and who falls. Look at Mater Dei in football and basketball this year they had great seasons until it came down to the nitty gritty neither one was left standing with a championship. Heck! Everyone loves a underdog, notihng is wrong with a team that flies under the radar and then just shows up for the kill.
