The Breakers sophomore continues to lead from the top. The No. 1 singles players won all six sets last week in a pair of nonleague victories against Foothill and St. Margaret’s. Michaels swept the Tartans 6-1, 6-1, 6-0.

Coach Aaron Talarico said his singles players are ultra-competitive with each other, and Michaels’ attitude is a big part of it.
