Boys soccer: How the top 10 might look in 2009-10

OK, I know the 2009-10 soccer season is a long way off, but I thought it might be kind of fun to put down the teams that I think will be the top 10 in the county poll at the start of next season.

And we’ll see how different the list really looks when it’s time for the teams to hit the field.

Unless he loses some players to academy, I think the No. 1 team on this list will be No. 1 for a long, long time next season.

2. Servite

3. Valencia

4. Santa Ana

5. Mater Dei

6. Santa Ana Valley

7. Saddleback

8. Aliso Niguel

9. Santa Margarita (The Eagles had some pretty good performances against good teams this year. They will be back.)

10T. Century

10T. Sunny Hills

dont under estimate ET next year. I know that it looks like they will suffer after loseing all their seniors this year. but as a graduating senior from this years team i no that they will be one of the elite next year with a ton of seniors again and cannas and razo up top they have to be one of the countys best forward duos.

Thanks for your coverage this year and this will tuley be my last “play” in high school soccer. I had the time of my life this year on the road to winnng the title. I love everyone on the team from this season and will never forget what we did this year!

ah Dottore, you make me laugh. Thank you Drew, haha god winning CIF this year was so awesome and the fact that nobody likes el toro, never gives us our publicity until we prove them all wrong. So ET CIF CHAMP returners, show em how its done please.

wait i have a correction ^^^, winning Fresno, winning league (undefeated), being Orange County Champs, Winning DI CIF, setting the school record for highest national ranking, setting record for most wins in a season at El Toro, and making new record for 20 wins at end of regular season**** so not just winning CIF made it that much better

El toro is going to return very talented juniors next year led by Alex Cannas and Fredie Razo, and hopefully an outstanding Sophomore by the name of Freddy Ramirez. The back line will be very stingy with Micheal Jachetta coming back from injury and the midfield will be very strong with Andy Reese. Do not take them out of the top 10 picture. Granted, December is a long way off. But come summer league, they will be turning heads.
