Leaving Kristen Chikami off of the Freeway League First Team is an insult. Sure, she’s Troy’s blue-collar player, and has a certain role within her team, but I think this girl can out hustle and out play, especially defensively, pretty much every girl on that first team, including the ones from Troy. She would be the number one player at maybe all but one other school in the Freeway League. It seems like some of the first teamers were put there via smomebody’s guilt trip. Take a look at the Trinity League boys all league first and second teams. They didn’t seem to have a problem putting the best players from the best team in the spot they deserved.
I guess my blog on saturday was to controversal,by calling out certian coaches picks or non picks,so we will try again.I completly agree with mr trahan,infact theres acouple girls not even listed here that should have been. wheres Mattie Barrett or crystal soria. to put the angel girl on this list over barrett is totally insane. and what did taylor allen do ,seems this one was a total coaches favor,from the rest of the coaches.and where is just one la habra girl. Imean did the coach even show up, and if she did she couldnt pull any strings. there could have been 2 more added to 2nd team,since 1st got 7 and I still stay with my early pick of MVP as julieann bryant.
what the hey!! no responses here . you guys must be burnt from all the in season stuff. so I guess me and trahan called it right . now whay would happen if somebody suggested sanchez noway mvp, or barrett over rockmore and richardson, come on bros have some fun,we all know baseball isnt.
could Troy be a little vulnerable next year .Looking at this list, it seems so.Rumor has it that sonora keeps loading up with waltons Dad on the recruiting trail,which could mean they could really put presure on sanchez next year,and match up against the rest of troys other 4. and if barrett didn deserve[ubsurd] even 2nd team wheres the inside threat.If allen of fullerton was 1st team calibur and not returning wheres that leave the tribe as their bench wasnt that impresive vs la habra and their JV was not good.sunny hills as good a season as they had will not come backstrong . there best 2 players lee 2nd team and simenton no mention are limited at best, and heard theres division on team espescially since the angle girl[1st team my arse!!] the go to. my prodiction is BP finishes 3rd with true MVP bryant coming back with soria, and highlanders winning 4 league games.
