Friday: No. 3 Tesoro (9-1, 3-0) at No. 10 Dana Hills (5-3, 2-1), 3:15 p.m.
Outlook: Tesoro jumped up in the county rankings after this past Friday’s 8-1 victory over Capistrano Valley.
Evan Finkenberg leads the Tesoro pitching staff. Finkenberg, who is headed to Arizona State, is 3-0 with a 1.50 ERA.
Tesoro might have the most feared offenses in the county. The Titans are averaging 10 runs a game. They’ve scored 27 in the first three South Coast League games.
Who can compete with that?
Anthony Hutting (.531), Conner Spencer (.517), Ryan Olive (.533), Austin O’Neal (.529) are all hitting over .500. Is this fair?
The role of slowing this offense might fall to Peter Tago, who pitched last Friday. Tago is 3-0 with a 1.02 ERA.
Can anybody slow the Titans?

Tago is boss
Tesoro beat Tago last year and it’s basically the same crew at Tesoro.
Don’t get me wrong Tago is a good pitcher, but Tesoro’s puttin up the numbers.
P.S. Tesoro’s team batting avg. is .452.
