Wednesday: Fullerton (8-2, 3-0) at La Habra (7-1, 3-0), 3:15 p.m.
Outlook: Is it a surprise that these two “friendly” rivals are tied atop the Freeway League standings.
Is there any chance that the rivalry can be as heated as it is in football?
Fullerton opened league with a 16-1 victory over Buena Park. The Indians defeated Sunny Hills (6-2) and Sonora (5-4) last week.
Michael Lorenzen has three doubles in the past two games. If this is a Christian Belleque production and if it is, then La Habra might be in trouble. Belleque, a junior, is 4-0 with a 1.96 ERA.
La Habra is riding a seven-game winning streak. Jake Garvey has been just as impressive for the Highlanders. Garvey, a senior, is 3-0 with a 1.71 ERA.
Christian Salinas is 2-1 with a 2.00 ERA for La Habra. Sounds like this could be a good one, doesn’t it?

No way that La Habra stands a chance against fullerton!
Belleques era is actually lower than 1.94 it’s really around 1.50. So la habra better watch out. Belleque should throw a gem tomorrow
Left end of 5th, yes Belleque pitching great (5 – 1), too much speed and pitching for La Habra
