Outlook: There are some moments when you can’t believe the numbers. This is not one of those times.

The duo of Chad Thompson and Aaron Wirsch are a combined 7-1. Thompson’s ERA is 0.27 and Wirsch’s is 0.00!! Is that correct? Is this possible?

El Toro has recorded shutouts in two of its previous three league games. Will Foothill be able to score against El Toro?

Offensively, Nolan Arenado has four doubles in the previous three games and is hitting .500 for the Chargers.

Foothill dropped its league opener against Huntington Beach, but has responded with victories over Woodbridge and Trabuco Hills.

Watch out for sophomore Colin Welmon, who last week went 3 for 5 with 3 RBIs against Trabuco Hills and he struck out six in five innings.
