Boys tennis: Sea View League outlook

March 24th, 2009, 1:01 pm · 1 Comment · posted by Chris Tobolski, OCVarsity.com

Outlook: There was a quirk in the scheduling and the way it fell set up this league to have one of the most exciting finishes imaginable.

Because of spring break issues and the coaches' schedules, Woodbridge and Northwood, the two favorites for the title, won’t meet until the last week of league when they square off twice. Both teams are likely to be 8-0 when that happens. It promises to be wild and entertaining, with the possibility of each winning on their home courts and sharing the title. The first match is going to be intense, only to have that level raised in the second one. As for the rest of the league, they’ll be fighting for third place. Foothill may have the best singles player in the league, but will it be enough to make CIF?

Prediction:
1. Woodbridge
2. Northwood
3. El Toro
4. Foothill
5. Huntington Beach
6. Trabuco Hills

Lol. There are at least 3-4 singles players in that league that can beat Johnathan Huang from Foothil.
