You know, I actually think that 1-5 looks fairly right.
even tho 6 and 2
el toro is the best team
this will be a good week capo w/ dana on wednesday, tesoro w/ capo on friday.
baseball expert, i played el toro. we should have beat them 3 times but lost in the 9th. they are not the best team
editors…how do u mess this up…capo valley is 6-2
orange lou has 2 losses as well…joke
and mirina…if u really think u stack up against edison u better be prepared for the boat race this friday
expert- how is el toro the best team? because you’re a fan? they may end up the best, but right now they aren’t, hence 2 losses.
Looks right on to me….
Swim, your kidding? i hope you are not a player or coach, because you are breaking every baseball taboo for your team! In Baseball we do not talk smack!! t his is not football ,None of your players would like it if they saw your BS! Do you have to get in the box against Big paul Strong this friday? Thats what I thought, so shut your trap! Edison has played nobody and are alraedy looking past Weds.league game to the marina Game, got another tip for ya Rook, we dont look ahead in the Sunset League, because anyone can beat Ya! Lay off your smack Talk or man up and Take it on Baseball resource.com
watch out for marina…should be number one!
Im a parent from the freeway league. I happen to know alot of kids who play in the Sunset and Trinity league. If you don”t think Marina is the real deal you don”t know squat about the game. They are as good if not better ( and deeper ) than any one in OC. You may not like it, or choose to ignore it, but it’s a fact. But what do I know, my kid only plays in the feeway league.
wow..all three times i have seen mater dei, they have not disappointed. Beating Capo in the Newport Elks Tourney championship despite costly errors. They battle. Flat out. El Toro and Capo trail by a bit cuz they lack the pitching depth of Mater Dei’s nine pitchers or so. With the word on the street that Mccarthy is stepping back on the mound for the Monarchs soon, to a team that is already a pitching dynamo, this team is scary.
Parmenter, I would have to agree with you in the hopes that players/coaches from Edison are not involved in the trash talking. I can’t imagine that they are because in a program like that, you would think they know a little more about how to act. It should be a great game Friday. Unfortunately I cannot make it. I have to watch another game that day. But in my opinion, if Edison is as good as some people say, why are they not in the top 10? I still think Marina is the team to beat in the Sunset League
Friday March 27th…Edison @ Marina
A Sunset League duel that scouts will be drouling over when left hander Paul Strong and righty Kurt Heyer take the field…
Edisons bats have proven to be lethal and 3 consecutive shutouts proves they can pitch and play defense. To where Marina, when hot, can potentialy beat any team in the country…
If all goes accordingly, this should be one of the best games of the 09 season thus far…FACT …i do not go to marina, or edison
PARMENTER!!!!!!!
r u sitting right next to ur son???
tell him he has a great 85 mph fastball
….GO MONARCHS

the game is at Edison. Isn’t it?
Yes, the game is at Edison.
I agree with some of the comments on here, Marina @ Edison should be quite the game. Strong (going to UCI) and Heyer (going to Arizona) will be a dual to watch. I have not seen either of them throw yet this year, but saw them last year and was very impressed with both. If you are in the area you should not miss this one. Capo & El Toro are extremely talented as well.
As for the comments of Parmenter, you should sober up and not accuse coaches of any school for posting on here. I am sure coaches, who are also busy busting their humps as teachers, have better things to do than blog on here. Can’t say the same for you, real classy buddy.
Whoever says that Marina or any team in the sunset is the best team in CIF obviously has not seen Mater Dei. They are the deepest team ive ever seen. And it is scary to think that there best pitcher is hurt (McCarthy) and they are still undefeated. That is a true testament on how good this team is. When he comes back games wont even be close.
Oh my Gosh!!! Here we are in high school and it still like Little League. Dad’s living vicariously through their sons…parmenter..you will not be hard to spot at the Edison game today..Remember…one man does not make a team. Win together, lose together, work together. Stay out of it..teach humility because whether you are a pro, college ball player or go on to become a good family man…everybody puts their pants on the same. Let the coaches coach, let the kids play in peace and remember…the boys are becoming men…cut the cord and let the kids grow up!
hey paul
THROW IT HARDER!!!!
Actually, Parmenter was hard to spot at the game today. Goes back to the same old thinking, little man, big mouth. Or, little man, big car, or just little man standing with normal people. Paul Strong did an outstanding job against Edison today, have to give him credit that he deserves. But, when your team (players and parents included) trash talks their opponent, the classier one will always win. Parmenter and his surfboard haven’t figured that out yet. Respect is the name of the game, you have to respect the game and your opponent, that, as Edison proved today, is the way to win no matter what.
What an amazing game today at Edison. The pitchers were both awesome, and neither of them deserved to lose. Both teams played with a lot of heart and pride today. The noise coming from the dugouts was incredible. The fans were all into the game, and they too were loud the entire game. Neither team deserved to lose. Both of these teams look to be very competitive this season, and I think both will go deep into the playoffs. Edison’s celebration at the end of the game was fun to watch, and you could tell there was an enormous amount of admiration and respect by both teams for each other based on the post game handshakes. Very well played game. And, unlike some of these blogs, very classy by all fans, players, and coaches. Well done gentlemen from both teams. I can’t wait for the next time these two teams meet.
edison baseball is the best their is they pee out excellance when they wake up
WOW!! Edison rocks!!! When a group of young men face the pressure of a game like this and come through it is an event to revel in! Great job guys!! You played as a team, supported each other when you were down by one and never let up! Yo mommy loves you!!!!
#10 should quit ball and be a model hes gorgous:)
expert shud lurn tu spel and punkshu8
El Dorado Should Be Considered For The Top 10. They are 7-3 and they have the most proficient offence in the Century League (Avg 7.1 RPG)
Their only losses have come to Cypress (7-3) and Vista Murrietta (7-3) and Canyon (5-5). The Canyon game should have been won by eldo if it were not for a 7th inning comeback by Canyon.
The 7th inning outburst by Canyon over Eldo was precipitated by the worst umpire call I have ever seen in my 40 years of playing and following baseball. When a left fielder catches a fly ball and in the act of transferring the ball to his throwing hand drops the ball, and then the batter is called safe on the bobbled transfer, that is a LUDICROUS and totally incorrect call. That umpire should not call another game. If one looks at the official rule, one would see that that was a call that was missed entirely. PRETTY SAD.
