Please look at the season's Leaderboard stats- which are the facts and which you post on OC Varsity - then compare Zach Kimber's performance to the other 5th team players. Your decision appears to be incomprehensible! Please respond with your justification. Without knowing what your myterious reasoning could be, the decision is beyond any resonable comprehension!
I guess Canyon ruined it for everyone. The greatest TEAM (no I) in Comanche history ruined it regarding individual stats. They had 5 or 6 guys that could have averaged 15+ PPG but instead they all shared
and the bottom line was very evident.
Travesty, Kimber is not the only one who got passed over. I don't believe the leaderboard is accurate. Munoz from SMCHS had over 500+ points and he and his team received no lover from the Register or Steve Fryer this year, although they played in a tough league and did well. Steve and Reigster played down that school's players and team as their fan, I see this as an injustice. Players who worked hard and carried their team on their backs unselfishly did not count only if they played on MD or highly hype team like OL or Canyon. Gary Franklin did not come to play in many of MD games essentially the MLK one but yet he gets alot of space. One only one hand or side seems to work for him when it comes to ball handling.
Everyone is complaining about the seeding and who is on what team. Kimber is a solid player and he gets all-county, that is an honor. Statistically Holmes and Donovan had a better year then he did so that doesn't matter. There are obviously some players that are either higher than they should be and players who are lower than they should be. A lot is based on how the teams did, in fact the only player who didn't have a winning record is Donovan and he is the last player listed on here. Hunington didn't meet their own expectations so that is holding Kimber down.
I agree that Huntington Beach didn't meet thier own expectations, but that should not warrant holding back an individual player and his obvious successes; and whose performance is clearly recognized by ALL of the League's coaches who seem to easily recognize his unselfishness, intellect and ability! Oh yeah, and vote him as MVP. Fryer is the only one to have missed this...again! Does anyone want to guess as to the reason why? The prize could really be good!
