Woodbridge 11, No. 5 Dana Hills 7: Warriors become second Irvine school to defeat Dolphins in as many weeks. Woodbridge won 8 of 9 doubles sets. Warren Hardie swept for Dana Hills.
St. Margaret’s 14, JSerra 4: Justin Cheng and Michael Schneider swept at No. 1 and 2 singles for the Tartans.
Esperanza 11, Servite 7: Kevin Cox (6-0, 6-0, 6-0) did not lose a game for Servite. Esperanza was led by a 6-4, 6-4, 6-0 doubles sweep by Jared Fukushima and Jeremie Djauhari.
Trabuco Hills 12, Segerstrom 6: The Mustangs won 8 of 9 singles sets to lead the way.
Marina 14, Beckman 4: The Vikings improved to 4-1 on the season by dropping just one singles set, including sweeps from No. 1 Parker Glore and No. 2 Kevin Young.
Loara 9, Los Amigos 9 (Loara wins on games 71-64): Saxons pull it out on games where only four of 18 sets went to 6-3. The rest were 6-2, 6-1, or 6-0 one way or the other.
Tustin 10, Buena Park 8: Tillers doubles carry day with 7 of 9 sets won.
No. 3 Corona del Mar 16, Laguna Beach 2: Ryan Peyton and Shane Korber lose 5 games combined in singles sweeps.
El Toro 10, San Clemente 8: Gannon Daynes swept his matches at love to improve his record to 9-0 for the Chargers.
Sage Hill 13, No. 6 Los Alamitos 5: Lightning receives sweeps from Alex Koeberle, Troy Astorino, and Andrew Kurzweil in singles to beat Griffins, who played without singles players Derrek Siddiqui and Brandon Schlack.
