Outlook: Tarbut finished second in the San Joaquin League, behind Fairmont Prep. In the playoffs, the second-seeded Lions beat Noli Indian of Riverside, 62-44, in the first round; Cornerstone Christian of Wildomar, 67-44, in the second round; and San Joaquin League rival Eastside Christian, 66-45, in the quarterfinals. Bradley Neufel, a 6-2 junior, scored 26 points against Eastside. Third-seeded Pacifica Christian went 13-0 in the Mulholland League. The Seawolves have won 17 in a row, including playoff victories over First Lutheran of Sylmar, 86-46, in the first round; California Lutheran of Wildomar, 55-40, in the second round; and Capistrano Valley Christian, 64-38, in the quarterfinals. Pacifica Christian’s Derek Williams, a 6-2 senior, is scoring 21 points a game.
