Outlook: Calvary Chapel is the No. 3 team from the Orange Coast League. The Eagles had to beat Estancia in a third-place playoff game to get the league’s third and final guaranteed playoff berth. They had lost three of their previous four games going into the Estancia game. In the playoffs, Calvary Chapel beat Excelsior Education Center of Spring Valley Lake, 78-34, in the first round; Village Christian of Sun Valley, 64-61, in the second round; and Verbum Dei of Los Angeles, 58-50, in the quarterfinals. Travis Ricker, a 6-5 senior, leads Calvary with 12 points a game. Nick Adair, a 6-3 senior, scored 15 against Verbum Dei. Second-seeded Morningside, which finished second in the Ocean League behind Inglewood, is led by 6-foot senior A.J. Harris, who is scoring 25 points a game.
